It does feel like the smt/binder news is becoming eagerly anticipated. If they just announce the patents and completion of testing it might cause quite a stir.

They do need time but it must happen before the existing funds run out. The news we've had so far is all positive but no indication to the impact on revenue has been provided. We might be waiting until the EoY results for numbers or if lucky something else will be announced before then.

Anyone notice how b+ doesn't work weekends. Perhaps 3p is just a pipe dream. Cpx have a real challenge to transform this into a quality investment rather than where it currently sits. What will be the next news and when will it arrive hopefully it is of significance.

Wkw most of AIM is as you say but if you back a winner the gains are ridiculous. That's why if people don't think cpx can shoot to over 1p and higher they haven't seen AIM at it worst/best.

I do think Lars is careful/professional in his choice of spoken words but less inhibited posting on LinkedIn. Otherwise in answer to the question when will high volume smt orders be secured imagine if he answered "all investors get ready and stay tuned".

He actually said "we are quite confident to be successful soon here". Regarding patent progress he used his trusty phrase stay tuned everything looks good. I like it when he says that as he has before when news is imminent.

Whether all these remarks are related to the same news we can only wait and see if smt is completed.

If it is WKW what odds do you give to the sp potential in this casino 10:1 would be nice or b+ prediction of 30:1 what a winner that would be. I have no idea but would think Mr Cool and Schurter would get their money back so maybe 4:1.

That's enough about casino talk cpx can break away from the gambling mindset if sales steadily increase and they become profitable then serious investors will come on board and provide sp stability and steady growth.

I think Lar's is waiting notice in the presentation he jumped in to answer the smt questions and although was confident didn't give anything commercial away. The patent process was going well, testing all is good and high volume orders would automatically follow but have to respect the process. Hope he doesn't do a kongat's which i don't think he is as everything he's said is coming soon has been followed up with announcements. Still wonder what he refers to after the Farnell rns when he tells investors to get ready stay tuned. Any ideas anyone.

VR you may be right i copied this note below from grahamwales on advfn who makes a really good point about how orders may be increasing without contract announcements. We'd only find out from the results and if sales of existing products increase significantly it should lift the sp. My concern was that h1 sales are still tiny and unless these distributors along with schurter really open up the market it felt that something like smt was required to create the boost in sales. Hopefully we get both with smt and increasing sales of existing products. Smt is dragging though shame they can't give a precise update

It doesn't necessarily have to be contracts. Distributors order as and when required so you wont see an announcement every time they order more supplies. CPX may pick up the odd order direct from a manufacturer but with the number of global distributors now on board sales will naturally increase without being announced.

1p 57m mcap might not happen but that valuation is far from insane. This was valued at £65m a few years ago but the markets were flush with money then.

Skeleton technologies is going to ipo in a year or two and they refer to them as a unicorn £1b valuation, that's insane.

Markets are very different now so you are right some major news will be required to attract investors here. There is a chance with what they're working on that they could deliver that news. Sometimes it seems very unlikely with lack of orders and the tiny sales they currently achieve. But the way they talk you'd think they are signing multi million deals or are confident something big is coming. We'll just have to wait to see what Lar's meant by telling investors get ready stay tuned.

This was after the Farnell agreement so what else is coming. I can only assume it's to do with the patents can't be anymore distributors. If they get smt high volume orders what will the reaction be

Just read linz22 post on advfn should post it here it summarises the opportunity and potential very well. Nice to read some relevant information particularly the patents which we're still to discover what thay really offer. Cpx have said very little either because they're under some confidentiality clauses or just keeping quiet until it is actually finalised.

Unfortunately when a company issues so many shares these boards get destroyed. Look at their other post on other companies same rubbish no credibility. Until cpx turn things around this is how it is then if seriously good news is announced even more people turn up but usually for positive reasons

Really hope so I've listened carefully to Lar's use of language in the presentation and noticed when he says stay tuned it's a very good chance of something going to be soon announced. He was very confident so let's see what happens. Also I wonder how big this really will be and if it is why all these distributors have come on board

Exactly willec read this from 2009 been waiting 16yrs the market lost confidence in ex cro kongats many false promises. Unfortunately the new board have to deliver to be believed. Who here fully believes smt is done and will be announced in a matter of weeks or like me fingers crossed hopeful but haven't got a clue.

I don't know about that wyn they get to see and hear much more than we do. Being able to ask questions directly face to face and see what is going on can provide much greater confidence for institutional investors to get on board.

If you had the opportunity to visit the one of the EMS companies carrying out the smt testing you'd be better informed than us.

I'm sure at some point they will invest but it does look like in this case it will be as you say when the uncertainty is removed that may even mean waiting until profitability is achieved. If they can only build a stake on the open market it will be nice to see those buys going through.

We don't really know anything that is going on and are just waiting for the right rns to turn up.

That's what i would expect but it isn't moving yet is a bit of concern if progress is as advanced as we are led to believe. It looks like it will do nothing until news then what when all the doubts are removed. Hopefully we get a very transparent rns without further uncertainty.

M99 it sounds like the smt issues have been resolved but until we get the rns we don't know for sure and maybe that's part of the reason the sp reaction is subdued. You're right though Lar's sounded very confident. Will this be the breakthrough cpx needs to really get going or is something else brewing. How the market will react to news of this kind will be interesting with all the trading and lack of institutional investors anything could happen.
