Yes seen it all before but that was kongats doing. Td was just trying to find out why kongats couldn't sell anything. P for a while thinks these patents could be huge. Schurter are doing the most ramping as in this is something big & next gen supercapacitors what do you think they are referring to. As p says after the court case they were all but finished now all these partnerships. Might be nothing like kongats era or something unique is developed that is going to be big. We should hear soon if lars is to be trusted then we'll see the impact of this new technology. Hopefully it is something special or like you say same old nothing turns up like everything else they promised.

Whatever it is need to get a move on as the market doesn't believe all the positive comments something not right keep saying more sellers all the time. Sometimes there has been more buys. If it was as good as b+ says sp would be at least 1p now market has known about all the progress but not moved the sp

With all the turmoil and signs of a recovery we'll get all sorts here. Just need cpx to deliver on sales, profitability and smt groundbreaking technology then see where it is and it's not too long away before we find out either a pile of poo or gold

I think wynd may have it right about schurter. They're invested and their activities are to grow this part of the business which in turn will grow cpx and the sp. They will benefit from this as will pi's. If they acquire cpx at say 160m in the future that asset will add value to schurter and capvis will have plans to realise their investment in schurter which will be bolstered by any increase in value of cpx. Sounds like everyone wins so probably won't happen

B+ there was no logical reason after GC invested at around 0.3 to 0.4p for this to drop to placing price. We've had a string of good news no numbers but nothing bad and lots of pent up interest yet the sp dropped. Something not right with AIM but it's also where you get ridiculous 1000% overnight rises. Maybe it will happen here soon. You seem to have caught onto the smt parkez thing how big will it become

Why this is anywhere near the placing price is a concern that no one has any idea why. You have to think that schurter will buy out cpx but also from an investment they'd be more valuable kept separate and shareholders would benefit more with a rising sp reflecting progress made. Not sure how this will end up but either way cpx look to have a secure future

And they are all the products murata used to make, schurter have opened an asia office they'll be targeting all those ex murata customers I'm sure.

Actually i don't think this is about smt which cpx have already stated will be retained in house. Schurter will know what products/solutions for the energy storage market they want to develop. They now have access to the IP to produce any product they want. I think we'll see products that compete more with skeleton and maxwell's markets

Let's hope they get to 3p before what looks like an inevitable acquisition I'm surprised schurter haven't increased their stake to protect their investment

I don't see how you could provide numbers for this kind of agreement. The technology and product roadmap would be beneficial as it won't just be prizmatic. Might be something to do with the patents but whatever it's another step in the right direction one day a big number will turn up

Novice do you think 200m is achievable 3 to 4p a share. Seems a big gain but if potential is realised still not a huge mcap. If it gets to 1p on news that may change perception in a very positive way

Yes huge EMS companies that I'm guessing when they approve a product it carries some weight with potential customers who may also use their services for product approval to use these components.

The function and requirement of these capacitors will be well defined it's not a brand new invention just the fact they can be attached in a reflow oven so saves time and money. Only my assumption we'll find out soon hopefully

Parkez Lars was talking about an EMS company doing the testing in a way that I thought once it has passed it's ready to go into full high volume production and customers would buy based on successful accreditation. Not necessarily requiring design ins but we don't know he mentioned it being confidential so they are definitely talking to potential customers i would guess.

There are lth's who are quite rightly impatient. Some of the announced developments we are waiting for have been going on for years. Just google cap-xx smt, dmh and 3v and look at the dates. The stated target of reaching profitability has also slipped several times. All this and the disastrous court case has resulted in massive dilution.

From this perspective it's fair to expect results yesterday they've had long enough and that is why the sp is trashed despite all the potential. If they deliver I would expect a serious uplift to a value that fairly reflects the achievement

The price does frustratingly keep dropping but if it does reach 1p it will be because of some very good news. If the news is as good as we hope 1p might start to look cheap. Not my words btw but recall reading it here i think and it does make you wonder if sentiment turns on great news this current depressed outlook will be long forgotten

I agree about the company being rescued something good must have been presented maybe the 2 recent patents.

The mcap is very low and with a decent contract and breakthrough patents a much higher valuation seems reasonable. What do you think to b+ prediction 160m sounds a lot but smt sounds promising

Think jeffa makes some good points but why get retail out who is going to buy back in need to maintain some interest

I would say VR is referring to the newlands and they knew before we did.

If the good times roll let's hope cooley allows pi's to make some decent gains if not 3p maybe 1p

Parkez did you read the feb report bit of confusion as to whether schurter took part in the placing. Cpx website impies they did as shows same % holding but allenby think they were diluted?

Why would anyone sell 126m. Strange thing is no one is on these or any boards bashing cpx. It's the opposite nothing but positivity right place right products right time and all that linkedin & X back slapping
