Snam has sold its stake in ITM Power, completely exiting the shareholding of the British company active in the development and production of electrolysers using PEM technology.

The Italian TSO itself revealed this in its note regarding the half-yearly data, specifying that it had "completed the sale of the entire stake held in ITM Power, equal to approximately 12.8 million shares (corresponding to 2.07% of the share capital), through the sale of the shares on the market via a financial intermediary, for a total consideration of 10 million pounds, equivalent to approximately 11 million euros."

Snam acquired a stake in ITM Power in October 2020 , subscribing for a £30 million stake as part of a £150 million capital increase launched by the British company.

She was the Global Head of Hydrogen Mobility at bp.

She worked in Linde for 11 years, together with Dennis.

The One Canadian Economy Act was passed by Canada’s parliament in June and gives Carney’s government powers to fast-track national projects. The Treasury is understood to be ­examining how a UK version could speed up the approval process for ­nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Under proposals put forward by a pro-Labour think tank and being discussed by ministers, parliament would be explicitly asked to use legislation to approve certain types of projects. This would limit the ability of ­opponents to use the court system to block or delay developments as ­parliament is sovereign and avenues for legal ­challenge would be reduced.

This would also specifically give ­powers to ministers to fast-track the detailed consideration of projects, taking years off the planning process.

HySpeed is expecting some good news from parliament. They say goverment could fast-track the next generation of UK infrastructure based on the news last weekend that Labour considers fast-tracking approval of big projects.

The move, which would take years off the planning process, is loosely modelled on a Canadian scheme developed by Mark Carney.
