You don't see many cons to Ocado so why say the company is ridiculous and hopeless? You regard the MKS partnership as a con?

Those that have commented have said that you have a lack of understanding regarding Ocado and a complete lack of balance.

That's your view. Meanwhile back in the real world the Ocado share price rises again today.

It is great there are so many misunderstanding Ocado. If there were no doubters left it would mean the value of Ocado is fully priced into it's SP.

The global market for Online Grocery is estimated at US$198.5 Billion in the year 2020. It is projected to reach a revised size of US$550.7 Billion by 2027.

There's room for many players in this immense market that's expanding incredibly quickly.

If you think a model (Instacart) whereby a customer orders their groceries, a gig economy worker visits the supermarket and then delivers the goods to the customer more attractive than Ocado's model then you greatly misunderstand the huge advantages Ocado Solutions offers.

It's great this misunderstanding still exists because it leads to more Ocado shorters who regularly lose their investment and help propel the Ocado share price north.

There will always be strong competition for Ocado. Those online grocers with the leanest, most profitable business models will survive. Those that shun AI and robotics will fall away.

Ocado, with industry leading online delivery solutions, are in prime position to capitalize around the world in the massively growing online grocery market.

Though we'd like them to stocks rarely go up in a straight line. There's a storm out there occuring in the stock market. Ocado will be buffeted this way and that but I'm extremely optimistic that Ocado will emerge from these perilous economic times in great shape.

Remember the Ocado Solutions history of contracts. Realistic to think another could be signed in the coming months.

If I were a grocery retailer. I would currently be investigating upgrading my online delivery solutions as my highest priority....

Easy to build a delivery model that builds market share but produces no profit.

Much harder to produce a delivery model that is profitable, scalable, has least food waste, has greatest customer choice, optimises robotics bypassing worker virus risk, is most on time regarding customer deliveries etc etc.

As this is realised the grocery retailers then turn to Ocado regarding using their services...

The key to the Ocado share price rising is a growing worldwide online grocery market. With this in mind the Ocado share price is correlated to the pandemic. The pandemic has led to significantly more shoppers switching to online grocery delivery. As the pandemic lengthens, or more issues arise from it, this translates into a further Ocado share price rise.

Many new strains of Covid are now surfacing. The UK strain which is around 50-70% more transmissible.

The South African strain which raises questions over vaccine effectiveness.

Vaccines are on the horizon however the pandemic has taken many new turns. This is causing the Ocado share price to rise.

There looks to be significant further upside for Ocado shares in the weeks/ months to come.....

Over 50s represent around 37% of the UK population.

August/Sept looks the likely target for half the population having the 2 jabs required by any of the 3 vaccines.

Also this won't happen..

Full lockdown will end Mid March at best..

August /September = when half population will be vaccinated via the double jab needed for vaccination (Pfizer or astrazeneca). No chance of it happening by March end.
