After my initial disbelief and disappointment , I`ve been looking at the trading in both ASX and LSE .
Clearly `some` have had wind of what`s going on , but it seems that the SP has been quite robust .
Charlie obviously still on track , so this must surely be associated wit some new enterprise or development .
IF ~ IF they need funds to advance some new project , or more interestingly some joint venture , then this CR could in fact prove to be advantageous for the SP , provided ;
The project is potentially value accretive .
The funds are underwritten .
Any partner is credible ( I exclude RMP!)
There is serious proof of concept .
I`m thinking that / Hoping that the detail tomorrow will be a positive , not just some `Prudent` move to keep the lights on ~ AGAIN !

BB32 : Great post , but WHY can`t he give us the detail ?
Is it because it involves another Company that is only listed in London , and the detail has to be released for both Compaies at the same time ?

Because they didn`t get the full funding amount at first ask .

That`s the exact wording used in the farcical Winx CR .

It`s clear now why we have been range bound 1.30/1.40 , and why there has been no sign of FOMO .

We can but hope that there is some very determined rational for the need of cash .
Otherwise ~~~ I thinke we`ve just been fleeced ~~~ AGAIN .

This smells just like the pre Winx C R .
Why not imediately clarify and release ALL the detail , rather than allowing us to speculate ,
Very unimpressed .

I do hope that :
1. There is a very good reason for the cash .
2. This is fully underwritten .
3 . Share holders are not required to stump up more funds .

Disappointed to read this so soon after quarter report `Suggesting` they were fully funded .
AND ~~~ especially as I just bought a few more today !

The author was a little generous with our mkt cap at $172 m , perhaps he thinks this is where we`ll be by spud :).
It would be nice to see us just creep over $100 m this week !

Clearly the piggy Bank is empty ~ again .
Funding means debt , a placing means more dilution .
Either way VAST seems to me to be hanging by a thread of hope and promises , because , I suspect that in around three months time they will be back ~ yet again ~ for fresh funds .
The reason : Even IF the Zim project is agreed , even IF BP mining gets underway ; it will be many months before there is a reliable revenue stream to permanently relieve this business of the necessity to continue to raise funds or borrow money to keep the lights on .
It`s a fascinating story of : "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds " , or in the case of BP : " Sixteen Tons" ~~~~
and what do you get : " another day older and deeper in debt " .

One thing is certain ~ all those sells are now in the price .

With one or two exceptions you will find this thread extremely interesting and rewarding in information .
This is a really pleasant thread , there are some very knowledgable posters on here with a long history in 88e .
It`s a great time to take a stake , i think a bit of patience will reward you with your investment .

Gary : Let`s just discount the ramblings of our resident hillbilly .
I`m sure that after the PH fiasco last year they are going to be absolutely 100% certain about the detail they release into the future and this is one of the main reasons why we have been waiting so long .
I also believe we will have some long awaited news flow by the end of the month .
