A subject of little interest , and of zero relevance to 88e and it`s followers .
Some people have a desire to `Go round the World` . Money no object I can`t think of many more places I would wish to visit , although I would like to return to some (Specifically The Caribbean !) When I get back to the UK , I plan to do my own Grand Tour` of the UK , and visit as many old friends and nostalgic venues as possible . Assuming contact is possible I`d be more than happy to find a window for a few pints of `Heavy wi` nips` as I meander through the West Coast !
In the meantime ~~~ 88e`s starting to look really exciting .

As an independent Scotland the nature of the currency is irrelevant , it`s `Value` will be related to other International currencies . However as a fellow Scot I would be very interested to know how you you think Scotland will drive forward their GDP rather than the perhaps value of any Scottish currency , which of course will be crucially dependent on their GDP ?
I am also seriously confused as to why you would wish to eliminate any influence from Westminster , in favour of total influence from Brussels ?

I imagine that investor 55 was correctly pointing out that Scotland , N Ireland , and Gibralter do in fact have their their own Bank notes . The monetary value is identical to the GBP . Of course you will know this .
At the moment shopkeepers often just query the value of the `Scottish Pound Note` however should Scotland ever achieved the `apparent` desire of the minority for Independence , the value of their note will inevitably different to that of the `English Pound` .
What then will be the comparative GBP value ? 50% LESS !

Has been enjoying a welcome and sustained recovery in recent weeks , specifically with a 16% gain today .
This change in fortune is no doubt `IN PART` attributable to their new activity in Alaska which is highlighted in their RNS this morning :
"In November, Premier completed the farm in for a 60 per cent interest in the conventional Area A Icewine project in the Alaska North Slope. The Nordic-3 rig has been contracted to appraise the Malguk-1 discovery which Premier estimates could contain over 1 bn bbls of STOIIP. Construction of the ice road connecting the Dalton Highway to the well site commenced in December with the rig on track to arrive on location in time for a February spud."
Meanwhile volume in 88e shares has cooled a little and this has facilitated a small retrace in the 88e share price .
Perfectly normal , and no doubt perfectly anticipated and exploited by professional traders . I`m certain this will be a very short term opportunity for some to adjust their positions . February and the Charlie spud is very close any interim news is likely to ignite interest in the sp here again .

Daz ~~~ I`m sure we all know individuals who have created problems to ensure that it is only `They ` who solve the problem they created . Some people invested here believe that only prelea can take this business forward . I believe that everybody is replaceable , and that in this case the best interests of shareholders would be served beyond the (dark) shadow of prelea.
I believe he has completely mismanaged this business , brought about enormous value destruction and continues to gamble on , If , Perhaps , Maybe scenarios to meet expectations that he created .
Whatever happens into the future , I think the business would be better off under new leadership , new thinking , new influence and new strategy . I believe i said this over a year ago :
` Find an experienced CEO with relevant industrial experience , just keep prelea involved in a consultancy role to advise on Romania `, which of course should be in his interests given his 10% + personal involvement .
I have no desire to see anyone lose money , but preleas` shenanigans (and my stupidity for believing him) was a bit of a fiscal problem for myself (and I imagine quite a few others ) so I`m sitting on a fence which is now only a couple of inches off the ground and if it gets any taller i`ll be happy to jump off !
Anyway , just my opinion , if you decide to go hurdling , my advice would be to wear protection ;)

History suggest prelea will do what`s in prelea`s interests , dilution has no real effect on prelea`s interests . imo.

Redirons ~~~ when you`ve been on this BB for quite a long time ~ probably far too long !~ you really do get a picture of the `Good Guys ` and the `Bad Guys` , fwiw I believe sprintman to be a very genuine investor here .

I believe that the `Primary Rampers` have probably also been the `Primary Traders` .
