Neon - that's kind of irrelevant. If we were able to vaccinate all the vulnerable groups today then fine but that's not possible. There have to be two jabs, weeks apart, before immunity is obtained. Add to that the fact that we're not able to give out the vaccine quickly enough and the virus now becoming more infectious, there is a risk that hospitals won't be able to cope with covid patients.

The point of the announcement was that new strain is spreading a lot quicker, 70% quicker, than the original strain. Hence tier 4 where the strain is prevalent.

The world is in a race to vaccinate and we just found out that the virus has decided to regain the race lead by taking steroids. There is a risk that hospitals will fill up quickly now, then where do patients go? Hence the reaction in the market.

If we get though winter without the NHS buckling, the share prices will recover. I would be hesitant to say the market has overreacted and that this will bounce soon.

MinM has consistently said for weeks now that he has a position that he will close once it goes under £1. Lots of people on here took the p155 and said he was just derampiing. Well, look what happened. You'll just have to accept that he called it right and made some money. If you don't like that then so what? He doesn't have to prove Jack beyond what he's posted on here IMHO.

BA has announced that they are dropping long-haul routes to Saychelles, Kuala Lumpor, Soul, Osaka and a few North American destinations. There are 15 LH routes going in total.

If that is an indication of how airlines are seeing long-haul business then it's not the best news to have out there for RR. I can understand why the SP has fallen today.

Lowbank64 - you probably know but be a bit careful about offering up information about yourself on here. You don't want to end up getting a nasty letter from your ex employer in relation to remarks made publicly.

ARSENAL17 has asked somewhat probing questions and his wife is (allegedly) in senior management at RR. It may be possible to identify you from the information you have already made available. Not that I'm suggesting that this was what ARSENAL17 was looking to do, of course.

ARESENAL17 is constantly ramping up RR with his support for positive news and opinions. He takes every opportunity to shut down anyone who doesn't see it his way. The reality is that RR just did a huge cash call because it was in trouble. Cash is still pouring out and the main income stream remains unpredictable. Nobody knows when the pandemic will cease to be a significant issue for the company. Bertram is saying that outsourcing has caused problems and things aren't the way they were a while back when quality was 'the' word you would associate with RR. Other ex employees experience is similar. None of these points are relevant in the world of ARSENAL17.

ARSENAL17 is here saying "wait and see where we are in a couple of years" like he knows more than anyone else. He doesn't. It's the mentality of the football fan that thinks his team will win the league soon but the reality is very different. He just can't see them becoming average or going down to the next division.

It's not me that turned this BB into a stadium. ARSENAL17 is the one that keeps reminding us that he supports Arsenal every time he posts. If you don't want to see football on here, you'll need to run your gripe past ARSENAL17 and see if he's willing to change his username. Until then I'd say his comments are fair game for both direct and indirect comments. As long as RR and Arsenal are both struggling then parallels will remain relevant.

Yeah, same goes for Arsenal! Just you watch them next season, or maybe the season after that one. Or maybe after that some time. Just you wait and see!

Surely if you know that comments are subject to explanations and facts/links to data, you have examined comments like you're doing a thesis. Is it just me who is confused by the conflict in your posts? And it was okay to dance in MinM's blood when the price was rising? A bit hypocritical IMHO.

Your point as to people selling at £1.20 be a use of MinM's comments isn't valid. MinM was saying it would go below £1 and we gott nowhere near that. You're also ignoring that the reason why some may havre bought into RR at £1.30. It wasn't because of anything that MinM was saying, was it?

Adamski007 - I'm long just over 205k shares so 10p isn't where I want to see the RR SP. The wife would make me sleep on the couch if that happened.

Please don't take my comments the wrong way. Apologies for using you as the example of the point I was making. You are not the only person who is over enthusiastic about RR's immediate prospects.

Stating what you're doing, as MinM has done is not inflammatory to mind. He thinks the price will go down, has shorted the stock and is obviously pleased with how things have turned out. He was right. I'm not convinced it's trolling because he has got skin in the game. Some people who were dissing him just don't like that he got it right and he comes on here to rub their noses in it a little. I think he's right to share his view otherwise it is just one way traffic and, so far, one way traffic that has been a bit far off the mark.

People who bought at £1.30 on the hype and sold on Friday when it went below £1.20 did panic sell and lost money. Either you just don't get it or you don't want to get it. A balance of opinions on here should be welcomed.

Dinvesotoy - look at Adamski007's posts and tell me why you think they are subject to explanations, facts or links to data. They are not. If we're going to rag on MinM then surely the right thing is to rag on Adamski007 while we're at it. And that's the point. Why pick only on the person who thinks the price isn't going down. Saying the SP is going below £1 (less than a 20p drop) seems a lot more rational than saying its going to be £2 soon (more than an 80p increase) up, up and away all the time.

Shadowfall - I get where you're coming from but I have to disagree with you.

Firstly, the name calling just isn't helping the reasonable point you're putting forward.

Secondly, MinM's comments are a welcome antidote to the constant ramping on here. It'll be £1.50 by Christmas, £2 soon, fill your boots etc. There are plenty of people influenced by that kind of talk too and, if they invested at £1.30 thinking it can only go up, then they have reason to be hacked off right now. But you don't seem to be critical of the ramping up on here.

We're all grown ups and we can decide who on here is talking sense and to what extent. Without MinM it would be one way traffic on here. That's not a good thing. I think that MinM had a valid point about the stock falling ahead of Friday's trading update and that should be a lesson to everyone, especially the less experienced investors.

Sorry, our posts crossed. I think the UK government are playing a game but the EU are not. If the EU say that the final day for a decision is Sunday, I suspect they mean it.

Of course, advertising that you're going to send the military in to protect your fish is both amusing and slightly concerning. They have probably already made their decision about how seriously they can take Johnson. He's been wasting their time and the EU will be fully aware of that. At least it should come to end tomorrow but I don't believe we will get a deal concluded. I will be very pleased if I am wrong though.

In terms of the impact of this news on the SP, I would in normal circumstances expect it to be positive. However, the effect of the SP is more likely to be influenced by what, if anything, happens tomorrow.
