JET47
I know it , surprised it wasn't gritted yesterday , like Essex way

I managed to get some today , but only a few thousand , maybe as it was a small amount is why I got them , it did take about an hour though

I see your point regarding the time delay used by the UK government, and to a point I agree with the fact it would have been better to have stuck to the original guidelines , it will be interesting to see if the UK are the only country that follows this route , furthermore , It will be interesting to see if other countries / competitors that do follow the guidelines vaccines use it to punish/sanction the UK . I have not yet heard if other countries are doing the same as us yet ,but then its early days .

not sure you are right about the half dose policy , I know 6 people who have had the first dose and have their second dose appointment booked , so unless they cancel the second dose appointment it appears people will be getting the 2 doses , of course we shall see if it passes in the fulness of time
hi mushroom I googled it yesterday after someone mentioned that H L don't loan out shares , and did in fact read it they do not loan out I also checked T212 say they do in fact loan out shares for a small payment in return ATB
evening tomclarke , sorry I do not have blocked neural pathways ,
if the UK ordered earlier how could any contract the EU signed with AstraZeneca put their order in front of UK , sorry but I do not believe UK should be penalised for acting faster than the EU , furthermore if the UK paid a premium for the vaccine and the EU paid more in development of the vaccine then maybe the costs per person will equal out .
The only contractual case I can see is if the supply chain is broken to the EU and if that is the case that is still not the fault of the UK, so the UK should still have their orders delivered , so lets not penalise our own people
morally justifiable
yes I am afraid it is , on the basis that we had the speed of thought to order early
the EU were basically too slow to order
also if the boot was on the other foot do you really believe that Macron and co would have helped us , absolutely not , and then the people who keep harping on about the Brexit issue would have been saying its our own fault for leaving the club , on this issue we did all the right things to get the vaccine here and get it into British arms
sorry to ask , where do IAG/BA pay income tax , I have been trying to find it but not been able to so far , thanks
he predicted 50p for RR last year
he also predicted 80p for IAG
he also predicted 15P for lloyds
TradingPlaces69 I have to say the bit of advice wam gave about being careful of Tesla is probably the best bit of advice I have ever known him to give , I also hold Tesla but keep a real careful watch on them as I do think they're overvalued , I hope you do well with them , to date they've been a fantastic earner ATB
wam. so you only buy shares then and never sell , in that case I understand you not buying at 89p , somehow I'm not so sure , that does not seem like a good investment plan
Joker99 sorry I have no idea , after last weeks fall I thought it would go to 156 , but it went to 140 instead , I know we got some news at weekend on possible full lockdown of flights in and out so that had an effect, I feel we need to know what the gov are going to do , at least their will be something to work with regarding predictions , I hope it goes up soon but think we will need a couple of days , as gov is making a decision tomorrow ATB
As I recall you said you would buy at 80p last year, and yes it did hit 89p , which you said that was pretty close to your prediction, yet you did not buy despite it being pretty close to your prediction . As far as I am aware it only touched 89p and went back to 90/92p , it then bounced around the 90's for a while but it did not go back to the 80's as far as I am aware . you will never buy this share as you will always move the goalposts , if the SP looks like it might get near your target price you will find further bad news to lower your target price , all the time knowing you will never buy this share , I suspect it's the same with RR. also once the SP does in fact start to rise , we will not see you on here just like last time ,
wam if you do not live in Uk how are you affected by the new variant , and why do you get so concerned by it ?
I think we got his message , probably best to ignore
just repeats same message
remember why you all invested
>156
magictrades. I agree ATB
wam i don't believe any government would have come out of this crisis smelling of roses , the pandemic has been a massive jolt to all countries on both sides of the political divide , so bashing the tories or BJ is not even worth debating further ATB
