We are in deaf spiral where the only outcome is a takeover/private. Newkotb you predicted this a long time ago and inmv your are one hundred percent correct in what will transpire here. I.E Mercuria taking this over. In the past when the share price was north of two pounds for me that was not a problem, but now it is. The sad fact is that this will continually fall to parity in terms of cash. Then inmho Mercuria will simply buy it at a knock down price.
I agree they certasinly seem a better investment atm. What beggars belief with Serica is that there have been many opportunities to diversify in the past and now the present, but for some benome reason they are still sprouting the same all clap trap that they are looking and will not overpay for an asset. It really is wearing thin now together with my shareholding value.
Your forgetting that this is run by a bunch of Muppets. That's the directors and not senior management inmo. The management should take over their roles. Also the largest shareholders should be investigated. Not by our lot ,but maybe by the us.
The whole bod should be sacked. Imo.this lot together with their buddies past and present are not fit for overseeing a listed company. Having said that judging by the ineptness of GB as a whole they have found the niche.
What would help if they could send out a customer survey to all shareholders.
Do not watch channel 673 it is even worse than the BBC. and Red Edd inmho, Vive le , Scum buckets fu..ck bugger,, , long live wokes...s inmho and dond re po pajama man.
Maybe someone should contact Serica BOD and ask them the question as to why they have not been involved with this deal.Once again it apears that any value adding deals are still going else where inmo.
Another thing. Imay be inept, but over the years I was always led to believe that Directors of a listed company should be prioritising shareholders whilst directing management. As far I as I can see the management are doing a fine job,but the directors are not. So as a shareholder I feel the whole bod should resign. I think they have got caught up with the idea of Directorship and actually adding value to all stakeholders and not just the few.inmo
We all saw it. They plowed on with the tailwind deal without a re negotiated price. Then to rub salt in the wound the carried on with their blatant lies of looking overseas. Now hammy years has this clap trap been coming from the past and now the new bod.
Maybe the whole bod past and present should be struck of by the institute of Directors. Basically for lying and misleading shareholders. I.e looking for an overseas deal. I could have found one myself. What a farcical joke. Had this been listed in the states they would have locked up . Inmho and inmv.
The only consolation here is that we are not bucking the trend and are following the rest of little Britain's shares and bonds. Very sad all round inmo, but isn't that what this and past hmg gvmt wanted. In others words to replace a whole generation with immigrants. We have no hope when you have solicitors advertising that that they will help bring families over to support a student.

Newkotb. I would add that you and a few others have certainly helped me in wading through the obstacles that have been thrown up. Hopefully we will all be rewarded going forward. Like yourself and some other lth I have reduced. Mainly due to securing a regular income for retirement. Having said that fwiw I still do hold shares.
I agree. We could be in for a pleasent surprise. Re epl and maybe some new approach to the tax . As flexmw posted. The government was quick to address the rumour that they are not going to reverse the decision on the new licences. Maybe they are working on something that will balance out the green agenda together with current north sea oil and gas production. Fingers crossed that will be the case.
