I have been invested here for over two years now and still can not fathom out the rationale of this company.Maybe someone could explain as to why the cut in interest rates has been percieved as a negative in terms of the share price .As my understanding was that the drag on the price was due to high interest rates which in tern marked down the assets of bonds held due to the bonds value. So surely with bonds going up in value this should translate back to the share price.

So for me this a worry as the opposite has happened. In other words maybe the shorters have been correct in valuing this as a pile of cr..p in the first place.

Something i have mentioned time and time again had the industry stuck together when the wft and epl was announced we would not be in the mess that we are now in.

All companies based in the North Sea should have communicated and stuck together rather than their cloak and sharp instrument way of proceeding. It completly baffles me that they act as if they are all working on secrative activities. i.e similar to the pharma industry or new inventions. Why oh why were they and seem to still not be communicating with each and collectively approaching hmg. For me BP have a lot to answer for. This company could have backed the smaller players far more than they have done so. After all they were once known as British Petroleum and founded as Burmah oil. Have they forgoten about their roots. Maybe they have just become another wet woke. inmho onmho

I can't see how Rolls Royce will make a difference nowadays. We're not the nation we were . However any announcements coming from BAE could help,but who knows as most of these companies are now owned by foreign entities.What happened to good old section 212s
