Unfortunately he has a point. This company seems to be playing up to hmg . They have been banging on about diversifying away from the north sea for good number of years now,but alas nothing has occurred. Inmv they are in serious danger of being sued by some shareholders for false claims.

As for hmg . Well i am still baffled why this lot have not been sued in regards to Wft and epl. How can they justify that one when other industries have had a windfall and continue to do so.

Oh just watched the news that many hmg customers serving a sentence will be released early. I wonder if that is due to people being locked up for freedom of speach. Which no doubt the law will be extended for anyone that speaks out against the likes m..bnd, st..mr and their hench,en. inmho.omo and no ones elses

What a joke of a company together with the current hmg this has turned out to be.. This is now a tax write off me when isas are taxed together with further taxes on my sipp.

Some may recall that i posted a while back that the company should have been buying shares in the likes of bp for a return of capital. Now we are left with no cash and will mearly be servicing the government going forward.

I am just waiting for the new years honours list to see which bod past and present which could be amongst them for services rendered.

DennisThepennis. We have been hear before . This has happened a couple of times with Serica during the past decade. I just hope that there is a massive deal about to be announced. At the very least they should intimate that it is in its final stages.

Hopefully tomorrows results together with the presentation will actually show Sericas comitment of investing outside of the UK. As far as i am concerned they should invest overseas no matter what HMG may come up with. I dont know about anyone else ,but i feel we have past the eye of the storm. Now all we have to do is to weather things out a little more longer and fend of any takeover by Mercs. I hope your right alavib, but past experience with Serica bod indicates to me that they are still only interested in the north sea and living in hope that hmg will through them a bone. Maybe even a knighthood. Actions speak louder than words inmho. A change of the bod means nothing unless they can follow through,but as you say lets see what insight the results and presentation show us, but having listened to past presentations with enthusiasm i am not that that optomistic anymore.

Alavib. The problem is that they have had time to diversify . Many lth can remember the lies they spouted about looking overseas when these idiots announced wft and Epl. Still no deal and living in hope that hmg will take pity on them . A glimmer of hope is that harbour will buy us out now that they have completed winter feel deal.

Inmv they will need to raise cash soon as the accounts will not be signed off due to the balance sheet . Maybe the answer is to try and sell one or more of the divisions and concentrate on the ones that could generate some kind of revenue in the short term.
