Fwiw . i am not invested here but in another housebuilder as invested there quite recently. More so to do with how they split the dividend,Having said that this is inmv is an excellent investment at these levels due to asset value. One thing i have noticed is that the climate is changing re mortgages. i.e 36 year mortgages and lifetime mortgages. So as i see it any interest rises will eventually be mitigated by this. It just may take a year or so to filter through. inmo
Ther turning point here could be a single or multiple licensing agreements. They could in theory have three seperate agreements. Leather, biotech and artficial meat manufacturing. Any one of these would transform the company and secure its cash position for many years to come. inmo.
Excellent news re twitter. The company seems to attract more interest than a road show in the states. Let alone a HK office. So if I was their accountant I would find Twitter much better value for money???
Way to go Serica. Back to two little Britain pounds. However if they can hold two pounds and maintain dividend it isn't all bad. Then again they will probably find something to scr..w the share price. Maybe issue some more free options.
As we all know this was orchastrated in favour of the hedge funds. Very sad that fitch is in their pockets. No wonder people are giving up with capitalism..
However their is still hope as inmv it just needs updating together with more crooks arrested. inmho
Sorry i do not agree. This is a small company in terms of market cap. They have failed in attracting any investors in the states . Why??. For me this is really worrying. As for uk investors.Well why are they selling??.
fwiw i havent sold a share but have added .As i feel bsf have a future, but they really do need to change their so called advisors and pr team inmho. Maybe they are all working from home with covid??
I posted this on advfn in response to a poster on there.Which inmv summs things up.
Excellent honest post ..........., inmho.
Unfortunatly i have drawn the same conclusion as you. I also broke my own rule and averaged down on this, but not any more. For me they got a little carried away with twitter. Very sad really as they are now tarnished. Maybe the answer is to sell the IP rights to a bigger player. Unfortunatley that looks a no go judging by the lack of interest from the states with regards to share purchasses.
I may be wrong here , but the problem seems to be that their product has only passed phase one in terms of drug trials. So in the real world they need to pass phase two before anyone will take them seriously and farm into the company. So in sumary this will require alot of money. Where will it come from???
For me the problem is the lack of interest from the States. Something very wrong here as either the advisors are useless or they targeted the wrong pottential investors during the road show. Either way they should consider changing their U.S advisors inmo.
Excellent post Newkotb.
Fwiw I am hoping that Serica becomes a niche Ns player with hmg backing and of course mercuria.
Let's hope that this filters down to the share price in the minus short term.
I wonder what mercuria are doing with their dividend.Whatever this is it is not a bad yield stock at this price. Downside should be very limited now as there is little room to increase the robbery tax. so hmg will need to look elsewhere.Isas is my bet together with further taxes on any savings. They may even look to increase levies on things such as a pet tax etc etc.
you are preaching to the converted. next there will be w...nk advert horse and fluffy teddy bears. let alone every supermarket chain saying that they are here to help everyone through this new epididemic.known as the thickoe virus.
small britain were getting there. coomies , that teeee.st mob ( which you can your can take your pick )n...zi won in the end.
anyway i am going to phone the bbc and ask where that thickoe came from in yesterdays news that got air time. personally i would like to think that he has twenty kids and doesnt do any reel work apart from providing small britain with some diamond geezers. unfortunatly though it is probably some kind of solicitor or ac****ent, but who knows in la la land it may have even been a bbc employee.
the plot thickens.
anyway back to global warming. les gas will now be used as we will not need to heat our homes inmho and only my . oho most certaintly no ones elses especially pjjjjms person.
The Amazon has lost a fifth of forests due to thickoe s adding at least half to climate change.
Maybe cover little Britain land in trees. Then import all our energy needs from overseas m Green,Green,Green. That Small Britain land inmv ,inmho, sodyor and no offence to thickoes.
The BBC .
Quote by a thickoe. These energy companies are making huge profits and giving it to their mates. Oh . Britain at its best again.Where f...CKD with that kind of Joe,Jill mentality in this country inmv inmv dyor etc
Nothing new there then . I've been here thirteen years and it's the same old story. Hopefully they will purchase a decent asset overseas, but who knows . Personally happy for Mercuria to take it private and in the meantime the dividends will do nicely.
I am sure they are saving the biggy to last. The taxation of isas,s. No doubt they will wait to nearer the election just to be certain that they will not get elected so March budget seems likely to me. It should prove a nice exit point for them where they can then say in two or three years time that they would reverse it in order to get realected. Just hope that they have run this by starmer first as he is pulling all the strings.
o and g should also prove a reellection winner in two three years time after well over 100 thousand jobs would have been lost together with importing most of our energy needs from overseas.
