I wouldn't get to hung about the trading update going ing on previous trading updates.
What we need is an overseas deal focusing on growing the company overseas. I just hope that we are not fobbed off with same old we are working on a deals overseas but nothing fits ATM. Maybe they can pass this off to new investors, but I doubt some lth will whare this anymore.
Hiblue. What i find interesting here is as you say investors can be found. Maybe the company are looking at such a fund raise themselves. If they could raise that amount of money then it would not be such a bad thing going forward. I think it will just depend on how existing shareholders would be diluted. I am sure there is some kind of mechanism that could avoid a masive dilution for existing holders. Maybe a convertable bond issue together with loan notes is the answer. No doubt we will find out shortly as the balance sheet must be approaching a level where it needs to be bolstered.
This is a big concern now in terms of the share price which now equates to a market cap of three million. If they do need to raise funds then how are they going to achieve this. A placing at this level would be dire in terms of the share price. Does anyone have any thoughts on how they could raise capital in another way without decimating the share price further.
The Donald,s new energy secretary comes from an oil and gas backround. Paticularly fracking. The new administration has openly said how they want to promote more oil production. What do we have as their equivalent. Well most of us know the answer to that one. This really is now the time for Serica to advance any leads which they intimated to over the past couple of years and abandom these shores by investing in a country such as the U.S. Maybe even offload part of their u.k assets in the process.
The sad fact is that with the uks current policy most of our energy needs will end up being imported within a couple of years due to their policy. Another concern is that they will use pension funds to invest into their green policy which is quite a freightening thought as the tax payer could end up picking up the losses to fund shortfalls to fund the public sector pensions in the future. How to destroy an economy in twelve months. Labour certainly seem to know how to do that.
All the money have made has been by investing in companies. Unfortunatly this is a big loss for me in all areas. They have and continue to let me as as alth down. Where is the directorship. Three years and counting with the dracronian measures handed out by hmg. Yes awfefull and unjust, bust not a surprise as it has been well publicised over the past years. So what is this company doing to address shareholder descruction. I.E diversifying overseas which has been pontificated for so long.
Also rackonteer i can assure yuo my salary is above four figures. All genersted from my sip by investing in companies which will most certainly not be the likes of this going forward. very sad really if you are all they can real out
Not really as i started from zero. . i am more annoyed that they really do do not deserve their salaty. Just like most pontificatinfg uk company difrectors at present. Anyway this is about serica energy and the lack of diversification during these time, innit ort am i fick. they seem to not be doinn omms
How to decimate a company with four hundred million balance sheet and still draw a five figure salary. come to little britain. You may even get a knight hooooood as well
RE: Starmer at it Again ..... COP29 conference14 Nov 2024 22:45
Sorry forgot to add fifty pence share will as newkotb has always said mercuria will then acquire. Maybe even sir ed will be given a knight hood. He deserves. I'm off to lobby stopping any foreign criminals if foreign entity being deported back to their country. Maybe give them some options in Serica. They may even want leave quicker. Better still tell them they need to a school bus run

The bods
Have now had three years to react. So what is the plan. I hope it's good when they unvail a zero balance sheet. UK directors and GB were getting there.and which country citizens are you actually representing. Certainly not UK shareholders inmho
RE: Starmer at it Again ..... COP29 conference14 Nov 2024 10:46
I think interest rates staying for higher longer will not be the only issue. My bet is interest will increase next year as inflation takes off again. Judging by the way the bond market is reacting they certainly thinks so.
What a power house this country has turned out to be. We should applaud the likes of Sericas bod as they certainly fit into the mix of useless company directors who are happy to take large salaries without adding value for all stake holders. Unfotrtunatly they are just like most bods of uk listed companies these days. Still they have a nice dinner to attend at the mansion house so they will be able to congratulate each other on their acheivements and blame world events for the demise of their companies.
In a perverse way the dividend yield could now be sending out the wong message. As it may come across to any new investors as an act of desperation. They really do need to now show a new direction inmv.
