The problem is it won't.
As a whole the the Dow is currently up four percent during the last six months, but the FTSE is down nearly ten percent. The sad fact is no one sees value here.Which I find quite frightening.its not just our economy at fault, but CEOs and their Stooges of advisors. Let alone so called institutions.
If this and other companies are undervalued then where are the investors. So in other words they are currently overvalued inmho.
And not forgetting more share options being handed out at the same time. Let alone a few more brown envelopes. Who knows they even be able to snare a few mps in the process. Services rendered so to speak etc etc
Oh well back to two pounds. Still we can look forward to useual cr..p eminating from the company. Hold tight strongly advise to do nothing etc. We are constantly looking at deals. Two many brown envelopes being passed around nowadays inmv.
I am not sure how they actually benefit from higher yields if they acquired bonds at say 140 which are now trading at par. As far as i can see they will only benefit if they are now acquiring bonds which will ultamately rise when rates are cut.
So in the short to medium term the companies asset value has fallen sharply if these bonds were purchased at a higher level. Hopefully they will make this more clear when the the results are out, but i doubt it as it is becoming more clear than ever that their whole business module is built around guilts inmho
Looking at us future,s this evening we have another two percent drop tomorrow in Way to phoenix. What a load of crap. Good job I am not selling your products or pensions. Try some non arrogant pr .
TrekMadome.
I am like you and will sit this out as this is part of pension income. The more analysis I do makes me quite annoyed. They really do need to make their investment case more straight forward. Pr exercise inmv is long overdue.
Maybe someone could correct me on this, but is phoenix business model based just on low interest rates. The reason I invested in this was that it could be resilient with higher interest rates, but this does not seem the case anymore.
I have posted on advfn today concerning current events. In summary this dividend can be cut and is irrelevant now with this continuous drop. My view is this will only recover when interest rates fall. The other problem we have are the new reporting rules. Which could show a further decline in asset values. Which in turn will have an effect on whether new or existing clients remain with them .All round I am very disappointed with this after averaging down. Maybe one of the larger players could be interested in this, but I would imagine they will be looking for a much lower share price.
I held a number of shares in these in the past together with Omega. For me it was always a shame that the two did not get together. Maybe things will change now. It will be interesting what happens going forward with flu/COVID tests.inmv.
Good link. Hopefully someone/something at hmg will view it. Who knows they may even use AI.Silly me they are already doing this judging by their decisions. Also do we really know if they are real or just some 3d print.
4kandles. fwiw the only decent gas company inmv and only view, was Sefton Resources. I am still wondering if that gas pipeline was ever completed. Still the other one was Petroneft. Two fine companies that put the rest to shame inmv. dyor research etc.
Anyway just shorted gas by four trillion small british pounds.
You forgot to mention that companies such as Kelloggs are eroding their sales. In other words competition from other companies . Rather than people just giving up on animal free products.
I agree with bulldozer the share price is so inflated with their three segemnts of business together with coh. one pence is fare value inmho.
Excellent buy inmho.
Not all concervatives are. I,m still a concervative and are waiting for true concertivism to return once again.A bit like Alan Brek Stewart in Kidnapped. Way to go bonnie young tory.
