We may also be in for a relaxing of EPL due to Uxbridge. As the Tories are now seeing that they need to return to Concervative policy. Sunik will of course need to run this by his partner Starmer first, but you never know.
Also this is not a private company ,but a listed one. So it is not a case of just letting the company getting on with it. Fwiw i hold quite a few shares all purchased in the open market at quite a higher price than where we are now.
Are there any actual investors in this company?
This is sorry state of affairs. If the company can not gain any new shareholders from the US together with the opening of a HK office then something is wrong somewhere. Either the bod have lied or someone/something are not doing their job which they are paid for.Inmv
I must admit this us listing has caught me out. In terms of lack of interest. Something wrong somewhere. Maybe the us advisor's should be changed as inmv they have failed abismally in selling the story of the business to u.s investors.
The only way that things may change in someway. Would require some major shareholders apart from Mercuria to force for it to happen. Maybe these holders that supported the bod in the past now feel somewhat let down inmv.
Sorry forgot to add. They just get on with it,but thanks to the wokes and hmg everyone wants to work from home with the others not wanting to work. Not forgetting that they should be bailed out when they have over spent. Guess who covers that one.
I'm afraid our new socialst woke society prevents anyone saying anything against it. We are now no longer a capitalist country. They are just a bunch of w...krs inmho. Oh by the way inflation in the states is half ours. I wonder why. Maybe it is something to do with their business ethics.Any way let's hope the bod of Serica are not socialists.inmv
So the achilles heel is now the hedging on 11,000 bbl. Way to go serica. What a fasical joke this is turning into. Is there anything else we should suffer. We cannot even gain on commodities firming. If they are committted to adding shareholder value to all stakeholders then they should sell up as their business plan is not working.
Maybe the weakness is now down to fields being shut down for workovers. No doubt we will have a rns on this together with our housebrokers downgrading again.
In hindsight i should have sold the lot rather than retaining some as this is rapidly turning into a basket case . Hasten to add they are not alone, but they do have some options i.e share buybacks and a actual deal ????. Something hopefully we can vote on should it arise.
Their problem which it has always been inmv ever since my investment here is not following up on their rhetoric. There always seems to be some reason as to why they cannot or will not grow the company for all stakeholders in terms of assets apart from the ill fated TW deal
Dont get me wrong they have done a terrrific job in terms of extending the life of fields, but why keep saying they are on the look out of aquisitions . Better to be honest and say nothing inmv as this tailwind deal will need another good twelve months to show any value.Which they and the market evidently has already deduced.BTW good old Jefferies downgraded us today. Way to go house broker
Could someone post a link as to where i can find the U.S listing as for some reason i cannot find it. To me if it is that difficult to find then it is of no surprise that no one in the states has invested in the shares. Fwiw the otc website has no stock look up unless i have missed something.
Thats reassuring aimgambler123. I am amazed that the share price has not taken off just like yourself and many others on here . I could have understood that if funding was still an issue, but it is not. So still very surprised with where we currently are. Having said that everything crossed going forward.
