Am I right in saying that we will be 11000 bod better off when production resumes as the longer the platform is closed more days will be added to our reserves when we receive 100% of revenue

Another positive is that we will not have to hand over 50% of revenue. All the more to hold onto until we receive 100% of the revenue. It wouldn't bother me if this was shut down for six months or more.

A question hopefully someone could answer. 40 percent of the gas hedges are puts at 35 up until June. My question is could these be rolled over when they expire or prior to expiry if beneficial

Nice to see you posting again.. Hopefully more hedges are being put in place. If We can also reduce costs further and get rhum 3 going sooner rather than later then at least we should still generate a good profit. What do you think

Does anyone know if the company plans on bringing Rhum 3 forward this year. My concern is the way gas prices are going. Maybe its more beneficial to cut production until prices bottom out. These falls are getting abosulutly ridiculous. Prices have fallen over 60% during the past year, Does anyone know if its easily possible to reduce production if they desire. After all opec does it to support prices so why isn't something being done for gas

Inmo the only reason that were not trading where we should be is down to the relentless fall in gas prices.i just wish it would bottom out. Surely they must be reaching a level where it will become unecononomical to transport the stuff.id be interested in peoples views on this

Ive just been looking at the o & g sector as a whole today and it looks pretty bleak. As far as I can see we have been very lucky. Maybe the market is waking up to what a gemm this company is. Just hope I haven't spoken too soon. Maybe we could end up taking a distressed company over where both parties and shareholders would benefit. All we need now is for gas prices to hold up and we should be on our way inmo

I have been looking into buying,but still reading the latest reports. Something that may be happening is that a bond holder is selling shares on the back of converting.Conversion into shares can take a few weeks depending on the conversion notice.i would imagine its through euroclear.apologies if someone has already covered this.

I have been following this share for a while, but unfortunately did not invest when I should have. I have been fortunate with Serica Energy which is why I still find this attractive. Due to the similarities apart from Serica being mainly gas and Rockrose being mainly oil.
I would be very interested in peoples view as to how they feel a merger could be possible between the two companies.

I am still hoping that we merge with Rockrose. INMO this is the perfect combination of oil and gas. Not to mention a very strong board of directors with a cash pile of over 300 million to invest into further acquisitions.
Do people feel that this is more likely now than it was six months ago.

Personally and inmho.
Serica is now just a subsidiary of b.p. let's just hope the shares yield in the same way as b.p has.
