.it also gives you the futures contracts for the coming year.we are currently trading around 22p per therm. But hopefully 100% hedged above 40 with cuurent swaps/puts in place for erskine

Which ever way you look at it they haven't given much share holder value for during the past two years. Like yourself and the majority of people who post on this bb and advfn have been holding for a number of years .So overall we have done quite well. I cant speak for any other holders but for me holding the shares becomes less attractive each day

Just like yourself I'm attracted to them for dividend yield. I have become more interested in them recently . Which is down to how they plan to adapt with regards to green energy. Hence my question re filling stations contribution to revenue. My understanding is that they already have the most charge points in the uk for electric cars. Inmo the government would not be accelerating the roll out out of electric cars if they felt the infrastructure wasn't there or in place in the future.
I do plan to switch part of my holding currently held in a oil and gas company I currently hold at some point depending on what transpires over the next few months. For me it is more to do with holding shares in a bigger company for relative safety reasons

It does . I reackon I'll be reading up them for some time yet but I'm pretty convinced this is a good investment at these levels.

The only fly in ointment inmo is rre. If I was placing a bet I would say between serica and rre. Rre would be more likely to succeed .
Serica has openly said they would not overpay for any assets if overpriced in their opinion.where inmv rre is more likely to.thats also assuming no one else is interested

I have been reading up on bp as I plan on investing part of my funds into them . One question hopefully someone can answer is what percentage of revenue/profit comes from the filling stations

Interesting developments are unfolding with regards to the proposed sale of shearwater to ptemier oil. Does anyone have any idea if serica tried to bid for this, but was unsuccessful.

There are some good articles on the net with regards to the permium basin.The majority are saying that production has reached a plateau before it was expected. Going on to say production is now in decline only to be accelerated due to low gas prices together with increased borrowing costs.

Rre recently lost operation ship of the marathon field. Maybe a tid up would attract them for utilising sericas expertise in running a field. I don't think they will try to take us over in a hostile way as they would lose key personnel and board members. Also both share prices of late have been trading in tandem which could be an indication of a merger

The combined market cap of sqz and rre is now around 500 milion with a combined cash pile of 350 million. Come on guys merge.

3 percent yield is not very good inmo. If I was into consperency I would be questioning the reason why the ofac licence was issued for longer than twelve months. It is going to interesting as to which producers start reducing output.
As I'm sure you are aware I am not from this industry ,but I do know I would not be selling an asset at a reduced price or loss if it could be avoided in someway

Whith the share price where it is. What type of yield do people think the dividend yield will be. Maybe the company should consider announcing this asap

Don't worry newk I'm sure some clever energy reporter will soon pick up on it.in perverse way I would rather prices fall off a cliff as quickly ad possible so the gas market sorts itself out. Looks like serica could end up one of the fortunate ones
