Talking about actual figures of amounts of money is a bit crass inmv. Why not simply say i have been rewarded handsomely and leave it at that,but each to their own.. Maybe i am a little old fashioned in thinking keeping ones bank balance is a private matter , but hey hoe if it makes people feel better then why not. I can also understand the excitement as i am one of the fortunate ones who kept the faith with a large proportion of my investment here. and by the way i have been rewarded handsomely with my investment in Serica and some other investments i currently have.
I am also looking forward in continuing to receive the increase in dividends year on year unless another opportunity arises similar to Serica son i can split my portfolio down a bit..

Simply wall street has a good article out concerning Sericas dividend. In short it sounds very positive in terms of dividend growth going forward. We could be looking at fifteen pence or more next year if there percentage stacks up.

Maybe I found the posting a little crass in terms of the monetary element considering what is transpiring in the world at present.

Even if it's the wrong board Newkotb it sounds very interesting. I looked at char a while back but have missed the recent rise. Having said that it's sounds worth reading up on again. As yourself Sassa and others have intimated what a good investment they may be.

Maybe they are expecting a decision on skeryvore where they need to provide their share of the drill. So we could end up with two prospects being drilled this year which inmv would add extra interest.

Also what I cannot understand is why they not intimated in the possiblity of an interim dividend. That alone inmv would attract new holders and retain some existing holders inmho.

I do not think i have disparaged management at every opportunity. Fwiw i have stayed invested here nye on twelve years. What has kept me invested you may ask.
One thing i am grateful for is the knowledgeable posts from people who work and have worked in the industry just like yourself.
As for my comment yesterday evening and if you have taken this personally then i am truly sorry. It was nothing i would not have said had i been out in a social gathering. Coming from the industry you are from i am sure you get my drift so to speak.
All i can say is that maybe i had the news channel on at the wrong time with the dreadful continual events unfolding in Ukraine and found the portrayal of wealth inappropriate .

Also if they can get some deals with the mod then the sky is the limit here inmv. As we all know the government is always slow to act due to bureaucracy and red tape, but Eenergy must be in a very good place at the moment to capitalise on current events inmho.

I agree chinch. I'm happy to hold the amount of shares I now have and collect dividends. They could also invest the cash pile somewhere giving an added income stream.

Also why aren't they paying interim dividends.unles I have missed that

Someone may have already mentioned this,but Serica must surely now be a takeover target after today's insight.
One consolation is that the share price will be underpinned due to the cash build.Hopefully around the four pounds mark.

I just hope that Serica does not suddenly announce some deal with that aggressive state. Maybe they could help the Bosch out and supply their gas needs for a while. After all why should they suffer any hardship in these president times inmho and inmv.

My view fwiw is that the previous corporate update gave us a indication of what we can expect from the financials. So as others have posted its the forward looking statement together with the dividend which is of interest. Personally i can not see that there will be an added corporate event as this should have been RNS as and when it occurred. Unless some kind of deal completes today of course.

As more knowlegable posters have posted . The results should be excellent with the higher gas price. The uncertainty lies in the forward looking statement and dividend. I just hope that they do not down play things which fwiw i do not think they will as we have had a recent broker upgrade together with some presentations lined up.

But the Germans and Hungarians will still buy the gas. Unfortunately all lth here including myself have got lucky with these dreadful events.
Serica needs to come up with something inmv and pronto. Not just some workover

I'm not sure a move to the main market is that wonderful. For instance anyone holding to pass on to their shares would be subject to iht .also tracker funds inmv do not seem to rate moves like this anymore. Having said the more positive s the better. Here's hoping possitive news and outlook come results day the better.
P.s I am just glad that the Germans aren't involved here.Other wise we will all be doomed inmv inmho.
