Fwiw my view is similar to bonnc a prudent dividend which is sustainable. However I would like to see the cash build invested in some way. For instance why not by a stake in another company . There must be plenty of attractive o &g companies out there.
Also I agree with yourself and Newkotb in that we are now in danger of being acquired on the cheap.

I know this has been muted before . Does anyone have any views re the next dividend. Especially with the recent rise in the share price and events which could see prolonged gas prices.
Also the eigg licences most now be of huge interest to outside parties now.

After listening to the last investors pod I recently invested. Like yourselves I am baffled with the weakness. Fwiw the only explanation I can think of is that they are about to acquire another company or alternatively not well known enough with investors.
Also over the years I found that little gems like this fall under the radar until there is a catylist.Maybe the Ukrainian crisis will be the catalyst to propel the company. Inmv

There are signs that tensions could be easing with Iran . As per Bloomberg. If so I wonder if Serica would be in a better position now in acquiring the IOC share of Rhum.

The dividend announcement is going to be interesting inmv. As far as I can see there should be no reason as to why we will not yield at least 4 percent on the current share price.

One thing to take account of is that should the north eigg drill be a dud then capex would be a lot lower. Unless of course they decide to drill further wells

It is known as egofrasticallafuly investing in the trade. Serica do not take risks inmho dyor, apart from dishing out share options. I am all for that especially if it means that the bod can do as little as possible. Just applied for a job out of speck. Hoping i can join their pr team.

The kistos CEO has bought into the weakness in their share price. I just wish that our CEO would do this sometimes as it sends out a positive message inmv

If the drill is going to cost around 10 million then its not as bad as first thought. I would imagine that the 47 million is the total in bring this online. So if proves to be a duster then Serica has only risked 10 million. If its successful then the future production would cover the capex costs. Maybe some has a little more knowledge as to how capex would pan out either way.

Flabby . That is basically how i feel. If they really wanted to pi....s of lth they are going about it the right way. I truly believe that there is some connection here with the drilling and rig companies associated with this now. I.E. a gravy train.
