The amount of funds the company are seeking is very interesting inmv. If it was purely for working capital to see the company through then it would be for a lot less going on past fund raises.
My hope is that they are needed for some kind of expansion . Hopefully we will find out soon.

I3e have stipulated that there dividend yield will currently be around 7% and will be reviewed on a ongoing basis. There should be no reason inmv as to why Serica could not match that yield. Unless of course they are earmarking the cash at hand for something apart from Eigg.

I wasnt a fan of a special dividend before , but i am most certainly are for one now. Not only due the threat of a hefty unknown tax bill, but the uncertainty of costs involved with North Eigg. Im afraid i still think that the costs will be open ended to line someone or someones pockets in some way.

Also the recent price weakness could simply be down to some large holders reducing. Maybe they haven't crossed any thresholds or simply have not completed a tri to inform the market. I'm not sure that they would incur any penalties by not doing this. Maybe someone knows the implications for late reporting.

I am more concerned with capex and possible over run on North Eigg than any wind fall tax.
Also gas up 15% in the states.

Gas prices are surging in the States this evening. So there should be a knock on effect tomorrow.

I think the share is currently following gas futures. Which is annoying. The problem we seem to have is what value the market currently puts on Serica without the daily gas price movements.

Don't worry about the current share price Flabby . As Newkotb has posted we are way undervalued. Something will have to give soon.

Inmv we are approaching a valuation where food tech and cd4 visetect supports it. The key here for future growth are the delayed food tech orders from China and cd4 from Clait and who.
The cash burn at current levels could inmo be reduced to a little over a million per annum if they can some how segregate the covid part.
Having said that any orders for food tech from China together with cd4 would rapidly turn this around inmv. Let alone covid sales.For me it's back to where I first invested so will hold with the shares I currently have.

Norways lng plant Hammerfest has been delayed further before exports can resume to the U.kK and Europe until May.
We could end up with a further spike in gas prices inmv. Also it is going to be interesting how HMG deals with this. Serica could be in a very good position going forward in dealings with HMG. just hope they check the small print with any deals involving HMG.
