What is going to be interesting is how much the dividend will increase by as we are currently yielding a little over 1.4 per cent.From what I can see most profitable o & g companies are yielding around 4 percent.On that assumption we could have a full years dividend approaching 10p.inmv

My assumption is that the license alone is now worth four times from what Serica acquired it for.So any farm in could be very lucrative inmv. Any thoughts on this anyone.

Any windfall tax will not hurt Serica in the long term due to its current cash generation inmv. It may even work to their advantage in a bizarre way by making them appear a more ethical investment.
