Yes Rellim as you stated I did post that . As yourself and a number of posters have alluded to I will not be missed. For me I am rapidly diversifying all my investments. So will not post as the holdings I have are either blue chip or small holdings in companies such as this. However will post if I see some news which others may have missed.

I would not be surprised if the company utilises the buy back facility if voted through judging by the fall today. Maybe they anticipated that this could happen if BP unloaded or another large holder did the same .Hence the mention of a buy back.

Im not sure if this is a positive or negative. Why didnt BP wait until the company buy back programme could be instigated. Maybe a new investor is coming on board with a view to acquiring a stake before a takeover. Hopefully or for the positive

A good article inmv on the oil price webpage concerning lng. Basically they are saying high lng prices are here to stay due to long contracts being signed for up to ten years. Prices are being secured for seventy five percent or more than previously negotiated. On that assumption if the long term average previously was around fifty pence per therm then the new average could be nearly double that.
