There has been a number of posts on here about oil storage throughout the western world. What should be abhorrently apparent is that the supply surplus was built up in readiness for this conflict. No doubt this was on a agenda planned out for a good deal of months/years. Hence why the oil price is where it is now. I think that the the events with sanctions and the strait being closed has had no real effect on oil prices. How I see it fwiw is that there is glut of oil. The US has proved that they can fill any gap in a shortage of supplies.

My hope is that the Epl gets replaced at least by the end of the year.Im afraid renewable energy has been the winner here and certainly not the likes of Serica.

Personally I cannot see anything positive in the short term apart from the removal of Epl and most certainly would not want the share price up on the back of other people's missery

Hindsight is a wonderful thing ,but they should have been emphasizing the technology more than the gimmick of a handbag. Unfortunately Dolly the sheep springs to mind (PPL Therapeutics). The technology was there , but they got caught up with a show case only for the technology aspect being lost in translation.

As for the future we can only hope that a licensing agreement materialises soon, but reading the RNS this still looks like it is in the early stages . I hope i am proved wrong and that something lands soon, but live in hope.

I think we have been unfortunate in terms of using the TRX element. In my view the hype with AI and spacex has not helped. People at the moment are looking at the future and not the past. So subconsciously a dinosaur handbag has had a negative effect. If somehow they can market something from particles from an asteroid then that would attract current interest inmo.

Hopefully the company can research this and find out if the interest was more too do with the lab grown leather element as opposed to the t rex element. If the interest is more to do with the lab grown element then they could be in for consistent designer sales in the future.

I am baffled why some people find the auction as a big disappointment. I agree that it would have been nice had the bag sold for a million, but there were still bids to 150,000. That to me is pretty good. This shows that there is interest in lab grown leather which should going forward ultimately attract interest from these tier1 companies.

The question for me is how long will discussions take. There is also the question of the Convertible bond in terms of how the conversion ratio alters with the share price. My hope is that the recent fund raises were not just for regulatory issues in terms strengthening the balance sheet in order to stay listed.

Dadean. I wouldn't be surprised if a merger with Enquest is now more viable. At least if it does occur we would have diversified away from the UK. The next election inmv is pivotal in terms of if one party does not win outright . Inmo it will be dyor for the UK oil and gas industry. Just think a coalition between labour, greens and lib Dems .

Hopefully not too long before Serica pulls off such a deal.

I think the key here is what transpires on auction day in terms of interest . Inmv the amount of money it goes for is irrelevant as it is more to do with the interest surrounding it and possible contracts from other boutique companies.

If public interest perks up over this then a massive market could be opened up. For example leather made from the dna of recent deceased species. for example a dodo, north American Buffalo etc or a leather jacket made from a celeb who has passed away ( obviously with permission from their descendants consent.

The fund raise inmo is of no surprise and if anything should have occurred months ago. I am sure that many posters on hear are aware that the company is listed on the main market and not aim.This means that in terms of regulation they are bound by more stringent regulations in terms of their balance sheet. My fear is that they have not raised enough funds to carry on as a listed company in terms of the balance sheet.Fingers crossed that a decent licencing agreement is on the horizon.

Inmv. They will facilitate the sale in some way if there is no outside interest on auction day. Just my opinion and only my own opinion.

.imo the auction will define our immediate future going forward . If it can be sold for at least 500k then hopefully commercial contracts will follow shortly afterwards .Maybe the company can ensure this in some way via our new strategic investor/s that this goes through . Perhaps through a nominee company should bidders not materialize on the day.
