Interview with Edd on the BBC this morning. Nothing new pushing green energy as ever. However a positive was he fully understands the need for tie backs on existing fields. This inmv is excellent news for companies such as Serica.This together with Epl being scrapped next year could put Serica on a new level in a positive way.Heres hoping.

i may be wrong but i feel our PM and RR are beginning to loose patience with our so called energy minister. This is the time for labour to truley shine inmv

A possible concern due to current events is that HMG could nationalise all north sea oil and gas fields. Citing that it is a state of emergency. It may sound far fetched but we are dealing with a government that currently seems to not want to be advised by the UK oil and gas industry.

Personally i think things are better than what is being portrayed. We now have 2027 pencilled in and not only that we are benefitting by higher prices.

If he does become the new leader then that will almost certainly be the end of labour come the next election inmv.

I think it is now more to do with timing. As we all know the recent terrible event's have no doubt caused a delay in Epl being adjusted.

Either way inmv Serica is going to benefit going forward. I.e . Higher commodity prices increased revenue. Lower prices and Epl being removed before 2030.

Matters are looking more positive re Epl from what i have read this evening . RR is now committed to end EPl. It sounds like it will be removed once prices settle down again. So hopefully not that far away. In the meantime we are benefitting from the higher prices.

Hopefully the decline in revenue will be highlighted at todays meeting. Also judging by todays fall the recent rise has been more to do with an anticipated announcement yesterday as opposed to the recent events. Especially as oil and gas prices remain strong.
