The problem we have is that if prices do spike hmg will simply justify the continuation of Epl. I cannot see them backing down as the green agenda is now their main policy. I hope i am wrong,but you never know.

Maybe our own Energy secretary should be told off in the process and have a rethink about current policies. I just hope Hmg doesn't double down and push the green energy policies even further by increasing Epl.

He could also be playing a high stakes poker game. Where he backs down on tariffs,but Europe picks up the price tag for Greenlands security.

More so than ever we need Epl removed and rebuild our own industry. Why on earth Hmg wants to be reliant on us imports beggars belief. Greenland. Canada could be on his list and then the good old UK.

I agree. It has always baffled me as to why when working for a company employees do do not purchase shares. Surely if you are committed you want to be part of it and ensure it's growth and survival. Maybe interview techniques should highlight this when deciding who do employ. Fwiw i have always bought shares in companies where i worked. From shelf stacking to finance companies.

I think the oil price is out biggest concern ATM,but as you say good time to pick up shares . Fwiw i continued to hold a number of these,but reduced. Subsequently been adding back taking a two to four year view. Might be deceased by then ,but ever hopeful that like a phoenix this will rise again above the ashes.

Maybe some kind of deal could now be on the cards with Kistos. Especially with the changes of of our bod. Hopefully an agreed merger by both parties.
