RE: Like for like comparison20 Feb 2021 22:48
I’m buying very little, I took covid stock, sold down some and invested in around six stock late 2020. Barclays, virgin money, legal and general etc and got out of all higher as the market was heading that way any how
Started in fxpo last year, went lower risk rather than covid, still have some odx shares but overall back end of the year, 2021 bought bonds, unit trusts and manage risk %.
I have around 30% in fxpo, growing all the time, I decided this last year I would finish with money risk reduced for retirement, if I’d left in covid I wouldn’t have lived with a great loss of the highs of that had happened, take done off, don’t be greedy was my thinking.
Costain for infrastructure, rgo for gold and crypto, Aviva as you always need a bit of insurance alongside fox and fxpo for commodities, mining.
Alongside this good chunk bonds, unit trusts, all income generating mostly monthly, all reinvested! That’s the plan, fxpo has done well, the silly £5, £10 potential sp prices shared would be the ultimate bonus for me, saying that current divi I’ll have paid my initial holding down in three ish years.
