say 30,000T a year, that would be not deemed unreasonable and from 4+ quarries working easily possible. then it all gets shipped to the more local factory, prepared and either flown or containered out of the country. with 48 employed and tax being paid i would have thought local authorities would be keen to carry this on and develop an exported product more and more. so 30,000T at 750 dollars and 70% margin which i think is more than possible creates a good slice, at that point where does it go? only expense is wages and the equipment which no doubt has to be replaced etc so often. the sales are mainly external and a prudent approach from day one. thats around 15 million dollars profit per year? i think this is easily do able. gla i wont buy anymore, will transfer into isa and sit on them now for several years. £1 a share and divi would be great.

Mots updated info on the web than their web site at this time which isn't uncommon. Let everyone know your thoughts . Quite a defensive, good investment this, great margins without the worry of needing to find if and price very stable. Many positives.

No often you hear that type of number being referenced as time period to quarry current stock levels. Maybe we really do need to think seriously long term and go from there. Average price €750 per ton. Max easy 50,000 tons per year with 65% margin??? What's that €24,000,000 a year profit, nice realistic start!

great video and people talk of little info but along with his voice and interview there are some insightful slides and comments. they have marble everywhere, sat on the floor awaiting the knock down factory that they got for a steal from greece. top quality marble, its a steal and the joint venture rare marbles are all coming on stream now. interesting few months ahead, they seem very positive and with some press etc this will increase over the next few months.

Will watch this space and invest I think a couple if grand in new isa before results day. Some recent director buys, results reasonable and don't wish to be out this share too long as long term if the field results are good this share can do well.

The rns and further comments have all been about the volume and revenue the company will become going forward. In AIM for me knowing there won't be a great desk if further dilution is a great investment reason. I understanding actual quarrying isn't expensive and obviously the stone varies in quality and hence margin changes. Therefore we can now hope the business can within reason stand on its own two feet bar disaster, this encourages further investors as the year progresses, just got to pick the moment to isa more.

There are many good points in the RNS today and the board seem confident going forward. So far 2000T has been quarred. There are 8 potential quarries with four working and china has agreed to take in the joint venture 15000T so the ramp up is huge. Fox Marble has entered into negotiations to establish a joint venture with a Chinese company to market, sell and distribute its stone in mainland China. This joint venture partner has five established outlet offices which currently sell approximately 90,000 tonnes of marble annually, and have agreed a target figure in the first year of activity of 15,000 tonnes of marble from Fox Marble

accourding to reports published this should be within the new financial year. like many AIM shares the info tends to be spread out especially in this period as the work needs to be done to create the announcement. happy at this time to sit and wait, i think the brands are selling and expanding so hopefully profit soon!! gla

i actual think there will be some slack in this RNS and i would expect Q3 onwards we may get an update stating better than expected results and profitability achieved. the sales are obviously going well and manufacturing is basically as much as they can, this will break even quicker even though i think end of 2014 is ahead of original expectations!!

market doesnt like the early digest of progress, oh well. happy to wait another 12 months for the real gains. give it a week and digested may improve.

they are taking advantage of the economic climate and buying gear and discounted prices, at the same time the luxury end/rich people list keeps growing where the marble gets sold. "It has always been the intention of the Company to build a processing site and bring this part of the process in-house. We are pleased to be reporting the progress we have made and most importantly, we acquired this factory at a significant discount to market value and well within our budget set aside for this development. We look forward to updating shareholders with the progress of the site."

overall as good a statement i think we could expect. the factory is now being errected, this would not take place if the future business did not push for it. enough money to cover costs to break even i believe is suggested and profitability by year end. china itself says it will take over 15,000T and we only made just over 2000T last year. so pretty simple year ahead, quarry as much as you can, increase production to meet order book and build plant to improve processing. this looks very interesting and it seems that all the marble has a place to be sold; The Company has entered into an agreement to operate a quarry in Prilep, Macedonia. The agreement is for a period of 20 years with an irrevocable option to extend the period for a further 20 years thereafter. The Prilep quarry contains the highly desirable white Sivec marble, currently available from only one other quarry in the world, which lies adjacent to the Prilep quarry GLA. i think this will be liked by the market. very prudent and sensible RNS from the board, considering of all aspects of business.

Should get the update we need? No fundament problems but will it meet expectation or more marble needs to be sold. Based on quite an expensive material and the fact all things luxury seem to be doing ok around the world I would hope for good sales numbers and money coming in the door. Prudent approach, lots quarried and more opened with volumes increasing, simple as, re-rate!!

i am out this share at this time, did well and wanted to realise the gain. i am thinking results around the 10th day of april, director buys are already good and these results will either be flat or imporving but with the big context of future development. hoping for the new isa season, not waiting for the change in july and will bed and isa back into this share in time before results!! we shall see. gla

Fox Marble, the AIM listed company focused on marble quarrying and finishing in Kosovo and the Balkans region, would like to take this opportunity to deliver a pre close statement to the market ahead of its financial year end on 31st December 2013. Fox Marble will release its full year results in March 2014 i wonder if we will also get a quarter 1 update?? last year the update was pretty extensive so would expect enough info to be able to read into it and understand what will take place next, are we near schedule?

It would be great to get more rns info but with AIM companies and the fact they are building a business the time between significant events can be longer. Personally no surprises, on schedule will do me and you then get higher sp changes quickly. Expecting an update this week, fully invested now to my higher level but can wait longer term. Lots to do, is it being sold? Is it being invoiced? Break even brought forward?

the one thing this business also needed was the first winter to be relatively mild so that it didnt loose all momentum and cash flow. if the winter had been hard and long i can imagine big issues. my assumption is relatively mild, quarry work has continued and this is good for the future.

Note their twitter comment indicating installation of marble from Kosovo in their showroom. This update will be so telling of the future and potential quality involved. If the quality is there then time scale to break even and sales volume will be great to hear about

Would be nice++ trading at this time, as the economy improves with good brands bes will do well.

Should be seeing an update which hopefully will indicate the next steps and profit that is keeping the business trading and expansion in all areas. Last year the directors stated a confident belief in significant value for shareholders will be seen, let's hope so. Sitting on some of these until after results, think they will go well. A few results within a few days so may trade one AIM share for another dependant on announcements.
