2 days ago AO informed the market that rebasing of supplier insurance cover had "no effect on its liquidity position". Believing that RNS, a number of investors, myself included, were sucked in and bought shares...
But 2 days later... it's a capital raise!

...are excellent.. A slew of my companies reported to the market this morning - all good but the share price hasn't moved in any of them. General poor sentiment overwhelms reality!

Yes, we did see a divi announcement - a reduction, lol!
I've topped up. The drop is overdone and this will be seen to be a bargain price over the medium term.
I never bought this share for the divi anyway.

Gary Channon of Phoenix Asset Management (see Aurora Trust for instance), a 'deep value' investor I follow, has been steadily accumulating shares in this company since March. He highly rates the founder.

They've said the absolute minimum that they must to satisfy rules. It's the DX. way. The mystery continues until the next instalment in September, when we will probably still be left in the dark.

I can understand the disappointment but an 80% haircut on Klarna's valuation, while huge, is not out of kilter with what's happened to other highly rated companies in this space.
This actually gives me more confidence in the valuations.

So although RENX does have IP, its usefulness and validity is very dependent on the flow of patient data emanating from Mt Sinai.
I watched the Chris Mills interview on Vox Markets. When it came to discussing the biotech stable, I had to note how Mills tried to entirely ignore RENX but Paul Hill brought him back. Mills stated that the company "has sufficient cash to support its roll-out over the next 2 years." He is the chairman and he should know. The interview was posted on 29/06/22. The next day though, RENX gives a Q3 update to the market, with the stated cash burn implying the need for more immediate funding. What to make of this? Both can't be right.

I've done a little digging.
Seems the NAV has indeed been dropped (again).
Also appears the valuation methodology was indeed not prudent enough, esp in relation to Klarna, and they've now removed responsibility for valuation of the unlisted portfolio from the trust's managers (but not before they trousered £117m in performance fees, which cannot be clawed back) and given it to an "independent committee".
Is that £117m in performance fees for a Trust whose share price has dropped by 2/3rds in 10 months and now has a mkt cap of just £600m?? How generous. I further note they are (belatedly) changing the performance fee methodology... of course the horse has bolted and disappeared over the horizon.
As for Wise, seems their CEO has been a naughty boy and is up before the head beak.
A fair number of red flags here, mostly under the headings of 'morality', 'honesty' and 'daylight robbery'. A lot of this can be overlooked when everyone's minting it, but in this new paradigm of low returns, maybe not.
Looks like a 'Lifestyle Trust', this one - and it's not the investor's life that's getting enriched.

The main influence keeping the share price down is the general 'risk off' sentiment pertaining. Mr Uncertain makes the point. He's thinking of buying but thinks it is currently too early, so he's holding off for now. That's despite the share price being where it is. And holding off has been the right thing to do lately. My recent top-up at 25p is down 10% in a week for instance.
That sentiment will reverse - of course it will - eventually.... and I'd want to be fully (or near fully) invested when that happens.

You're not wrong. I've also learnt, belatedly, that a bit of in and out with Boohoo works better than hanging on grimly. That's not to say I'm not still underwater overall with this share.

Yes indeed, you're so very right - you are a multiple board poster. In fact, you really get around. I don't know where you find the time to post as many as 26 comments on other companies. That's a lot. Especially in the context of a mere 596 posts on Boohoo. You need to allocate your time better and stop neglecting Boohoo.

A year ago when the price of RENX was north of £10 a share, Dr Paul Jourdan, Amati boss, was shamelessly ramping this stock to high heaven on PIWorld and Vox Markets... what a joker.
As with most of the asset management industry, he's not paid by performance, he's paid by AUM, so no surprise that he appears to spend his time thinking up new funds to launch as opposed to researching decent investments.
There's no alignment with us.
