I was just writing the same. Been invested well over a year and so far our investments have performed poorly and the SP has acted accordingly. Only the SGS trial could bail us out short term. If that is a bust then Brent is correct. This will be a hold for many years before we see any returns on our cash.

I wish they would just put us out our misery. If for whatever reason AZD1656 will not be commercialised, then just let us know so we can all move on. Some may chose to stay invested in Vela as they believe JN can turn this around and current/future investments will be worth more than the current market cap.

Without news, looking very likely we will hit the 0.05s this week. Even i might average down if/when we get there

No, I will not be bailing, yet. Can't see why anybody would sell till the next step of AZD1656 has been released.
Purely guess work, but the way I see it. AZD1656 is a bust then the SP will be 0.04ish, then a very LTH to get my money back. Upside is really unknown but possibly 0.15 and above, sell most my shares and leave the reminder for a very LTH.

I suspect that it's more bored PIs running for the exit. Falling share price, large sells, poor communication and some poorly performing shares. The writing is on the wall and has been for some time

Until we hear otherwise then we have to assume that commercial talks are still on going.
If they are a dud then I expect we will drop down to the 0.04 to 0.05p range. Will probably then just hold as I would not sell at such a big loss. Not when we must have 2 million sat in the bank to hopefully re-coup the losses.
Time will tell, how much time is anybodys best guess.

My price target for exit before the results RNS was 0.3 to 0.4p.
Now, I will sell all but a couple of million if we ever hit 0.1p again. The board are far too quiet for my liking. I prefer CEOs that keep investors upto date via webcasts or other forms of social media. Just my opinion but at least then you feel more aware of how things are progressing. We go months without hearing anything and have big chunks sat in the bank.

The only reason that people did not sell out on results was because of the imminent commercial discussions. At 0.14 and potentially a deal just around the corner then the hope was 0.3p or above on the agreed deal.
Very few will make the same mistake again. If there is a deal then most will sell out straight away. Unless the deal gives Vela a income per annum from AZD1656.

No I don't have facts as neither SGS or Vela have provided us with any.
The only thing that is fact, is the share price has declined from 0.14p too just over 0.06p in a matter of weeks after results.
Does that look like a successful trial or just a encouraging trial. I am a holder and will continue to hold till we finally hear what is happening with AZD1656.

Can I ask exactly what there is to enjoy. If you are a LTH you have seen either your profit or initial stake significantly decrease in 6 weeks, hardly enjoyable
He can be connected as much as you like but if the drug is not as good as first thought then it will not be bought.
I am sure I will be attacked for being negative again but still we hear nothing from anybody connected to the trial. The only people I hear from are the usual rampers, writing about a deal that is about too happen. Probably in the hope this rises slightly so they can sell out for 10% profit.

I agree. The current SP reflects exactly what is thought about AZD1656 and how successful the trial was.

Maybe he can spend a bit more time on Vela then.

I think it's because Vela have just used up their once every 2 month RNS yesterday. They have overloaded the LTH, s with too much news.

Also makes a bit more sense on why SGS sold their shares straight away. They knew where the Vela price was heading.

What do the 3 members of Velas board get paid and what are they getting paid to do?
Like you said, they don't update investors and they don't make worthwhile investments. Are they just sat on Facebook all day or are they to busy with their other ventures to even bother about Vela.

Generally with UFO and most Aim shares there is lots of action before a good RNS. No price action today here though. Does that suggest the news is very average or for once no leak. Not long and we will find out, fingers crossed its a belter.
