Maybe the announcement of news on the 6th Sept has killed any chance of FOMO. Anybody that still wishes to buy in can get in at almost the same price late next week. Unless we get news non trial related then we will stay in the same trading range we have been in for a long time

I don't dispute the potential and the iron ore is why I first invested. I personally will not be investing anymore in UFO.
The way people talk on here UFO is guaranteed. As a very junior miner, this is definitely not the case. To be fair most mining companies on my list are down in 2021. Ggp, Eua, CNR and Alba to name a few.

Either very brave or very foolish. The SP has been going only one way for 8 months or more now. UFO is my second biggest holding and now my worst performing. Aim is brutal and UFO is getting a kicking.

The groke, could not agree more. I am sure somebody involved in Vela could easily set up a social media for Vela. Move with the times or stay stuck in the past.

Yes of course it will crash, it's our biggest investment by far. There was talk on here of 30% max. The Vela SP currently goes down when our investments go up so I suspect it will be more like a 50% drop. I am being very negative today but will be staying invested as its a punt only. All be it a large punt for me. A punt on JN, who in my humble opinion is not currently proving to be the messiah that we all hoped he would be.

Without sounding like a Deramper or being overally negative. When does the trust in JN start to diminish. When we are at 0.04 or 0.05. He has had 18 months, I expected a bit more than this by now. The KNB trade in and out was impressive to get a free ride. Apart from that we have the trial and lots of LTH, s. He has yet to put any of his own money in, unlike us.

Looks like you are just better off investing in all Velas holdings off your own back. It seems that when our investments go up the SP of Vela goes down. I sense that I am not the only one getting a tad annoyed with the action here.
Before anyone starts saying about being patient and only invest what you can afford to lose, bore off.
We are every right to expect better from JN and the team. Their PR is not great at all. The poorly worded RNS suggesting we would hear something about the trial end of march has not helped at all.

I can now see why people are getting fed up. We have been in the same trading range forever. I am holding for trial results and have been holding since JN took over. How ever, we invest to make money and we certainly are not doing that now.

This is Aim and any negative news they will drop the price. Even with good news they will sometimes drop the price. Its getting very hard to find a profit with Aim. I will be staying invested in UFO till the bitter end and hope Bill blows our socks up with the iron ore update.

They need to be telling us what the bigger fish are then. Our only JV pulled out and now this. Whatever they are pursuing best knock our socks off. I suspect another 10% drop today is on the cards.

Since Aug 2020 JN seems to have got things in order and made some solid investments for the future. Hopefully in the short term the trial results will provide a boost to the SP. We do how ever invest in the stock market to make money. So far in the last 18 months that has not happened. Very rarely in Aim shares will rocket after just a few months. Look back in a couple of years, if we are still at 0.07p then I would say Vela has failed us.

Yes, I am a little unsure why some buys being shown as sells is signalling news this week. Its looking very unlikely we are getting anything before full news. The full stock market and covid situation is all looking very depressing today.

I have no rational other than what I wrote. Why else would a investment keep so much capital in the bank. Surely JN could have put it to better use than just sitting there earning nothing. I could be wrong and often am, maybe he has it saved for something else. All will be reveiled in the next 3 months.

As per previous comments, the 2 million has got to be trial related. Why else would an investment company leave it sat in the bank.
In the short term, I very much doubt the other investments will move the SP much. Long term yes, but Velas SP between now and September is all about the trial.

Not if you do not want to wait till end of August/beginning of September.

Well there we have it. I have been moaning about the lack of news and communication from Vela. Time to get very excited and I believe everything is coming together. Yes there is still a chance of the trials being a failure but for me the risk reward is well worth it. Have a good weekend and enjoy the final.

Legally they do not have to issue an RNS as its not price sensative. However, they could easily issue a RNS with expected time of results. This would stop the guess work and maybe restore some confidence in the Vela board. The SP has been trading around the same for 12 months now, hardly maximising value to share holders.

Unfortunately I have too agree. I have tried to stay positive but think JN and Velas communication is not good at all. The trials are our biggest investment by far. Vela have not even bothered to officially inform us of the end of the trial or yesterday's database lock. The Sgsc update described this as significant. It could be argued we are being updated by sgsc and twitter but I think as Vela shareholders we should be kept in the loop via a RNS from Vela. This could also make the trials and Vela more known to others who do not happen to follow the sgsc twitter feed. For the record I am staying invested and have been for over 18 months.

Jimmy2011, I too am struggling to understand what is next. It's great that we finally have some sort of update but thickos like me need things in black and white. Are we no longer getting interim results? Do we just have to wait till end of August? Hopefully some clarity in the next few days

Yep, looks like full results only so, another wait of 28 days and stagnant SP. There has certainly been no reward for the early birds on this one.
