I am sure he is a busy guy, but we have heard nothing from him since 12th April. Fast approaching 3 months with no news and 2 million sat in the bank. We are an investment company. If the 2 million is not being used to invest then as a PI I would like to know where it is going. Patience is rewarded apparently. Well we have had plenty of patience and now is the time for JN to prove why most of us first invested.

Let's hope we get some form of update this week.

Why would there be a 6 month delay. We are not dealing with Mikey mouse outfits here. The people involved in this are all very big players. We are only 1 day over the expected initial results. This treatment can be used round the world now. If anything they will be working even harder to get the trial results completed, good or bad.

So far we are only 1 day over the expected results, so nothing to worry about. If we have heard nothing by the middle of next week then I would expect an update from Vela. The trades and SP would indicate no leaks so far. I really hope it's not another 6 weeks but if it is then we as share holders deserve to know.

O. 78. Hardly the excitement I was expecting as we progressed into trial results.

Could not agree more. We have been told end of June. If this has slipped then I think we should be informed.

You could be right Bigdave and that's why we are not seeing much bigger players taking their positions before next week.

I agree completly but you will be able to buy in much cheaper if the SGS trial is a bust. For me it's a gamble worth taking.
If results are bad then I will sell some poorly performing mining stock in my portfolio and average down here. Hopefully it does not come to that and the SP and Vela will be blue from here as JN builds a steady number of investments.

Some of us have been waiting for a long time. Seriously hoping the patience is rewarded with this one. The trial could go either way and that's why the SP is just floating about. All the other investments are very small amounts compared to SGS trial. This is the biggie and will ultimately prove to be the making of Vela

I do agree it's a long time since any news. We have over 2 million in the bank and lots of other exciting investments there may have been updates on.
Vela have not even communicated the end of the trial. I think an RNS with this news and confirming the expected results would not have been out of the question.
The fact we still have over 2 million in the bank and are an investment company also speaks volumes. The funds must be being saved for something trial related. Either way not long and I am still confident in JNs investments and my holdings here.

There are no signs of any leaks here or we would have massive volume. People are beginning to take their positions and probably a few newbies having a punt. Hopefully next week for news or something in the weekend papers.

Pickuzawinnah, your name suggests you are a gambler and that is exactly what Aim is. If UFO was in a horse race in a 10 horse field then I would currently put us as 4/1 second favourite. I like those odds so have had a sizeable punt, but certainly would not put the house on it.
As for backing Scotland, no chance, that really is throwing money away

Very sad individuals thrive when others are unhappy and things are not going well.
UFO is my second largest holding and I will continue to hold. The current SP is obviously disappointing as UFO have not given us enough significant news to increase the value to us shareholders.
You are either in or your out. I for one roll see what happens with the iron ore and base my descion from there. This is Aim and there will be more losers than winners or we would all be millionaires. Let's hope we are on to a winner with Bill.
