Unless you are willing to take a loss then its got to be a hold until SGS bother to update us on the AZD1656 trial. I suspect there will be a massive sell off if a deal is actually made.

Surely it should be on top of the pile because of covid.

No thanks postman. SGS dela or no deal and I am out. No interest in staying involved in Vela for 3 years. Less than impressed with our other investments, lack of director purchases and rubbish comms. When I first invested in Vela, well over 12 months ago, people where saying the same on this BB. Turn of your PC and give JN 12 months to work his magic. Well, a magician he certainly is not.

Anyone selling now will be at a big loss. What price are we expecting if SGS turns out to be a flop. I am willing to let it run and take a bigger hit.

Looks like some bored PIs selling out some reasonably large positions today.

3p during the year, followed by another placing meaning we will end 2022 closer to 2p.

A few £10000 buys thrown in before close of play. They are certainly getting alot more shares for their money today. Happy Xmas to all Vela holders and hopefully we have a much better year in 2022.

I am staying invested in UFO as I have invested gambling money only. I think alot are getting fed up of the endless dillution and placings though.

There does seem to be a bit more voloume today. Probably fizzle out but you never know, maybe one day Vela will suprise us.

Not much of a discussion for me, Vela the worst by a country mile. Share price, communication and investments have all been terrible.

Only my opinion, I think it maybe quite some time before we get news from SGS. The update last week was released just to keep us interested. I was hoping for news this year but the volume would suggest otherwise. Very little interest in Vela at the moment. On the plus side, surely we can't drop much more.

Nobody knows anything. As I am sure we all know, it will only be the SGS news that will increase the SP here. News on current or other investments is not going to do much fgor us short term.

Given the current covid situation in the UK, i would hope everyone involved will be doing all they can to get AZD1656 to market.

JN does seemed to have picked a right duffer with mode. Let's hope our bigger investment perform better. Yesterday's RNS would say the AZD1656 is back in play.

Checked in this morning and was really hoping to see a red dot against the RNS tab. Surely we will not be waiting till after Christmas before SGS decided to inform us what is happening with the trial. Unofficially it looks like, until the peer review is complete we will get nothing. It would be nice to here is from the horses mouth though.

Oh well bowlers. Somebody forgot to tell Vela they will have to RNS such information.

I think that's exactly the point. We are all now bored of moaning about the lack of updates and comms. We are where we are because there has been no further updates on the SGS trial since September. Mostly out of Velas control, but still massively frustrating. The lack of director buys and use of social media is also adding to the frustration. Apart from new investors like yourself, most of us are now down on our investments. You either think this may come good or sell out and move on. I change my mind daily. At present I would hate to sell out and then see this rocket on a commercial deal for AZD1656. For that reason I am staying invested for now.

When the trial ended, Vela did not release an RNS. The news came from the SGS website and twitter.
I understand that Vela are letting each company release their own news and updates. That's fine, but how is that supposed to put Vela on other people's radars. I check the RNS releases most days to see if there is anything interesting. For example is you had seen the Code RNS this morning it might make you invest in CODE not Vela. We are hardly increasing the value of our own SP by increased value in our investment portfolio. I am really not sure what the 3 board members are doing for Vela. They are being paid a wage but for what. Surely it only takes 1 person to pick our once every 6 month investment. We took another board member on recently, what has she brought to the party. Starting to wonder why I am still holding this dog of a share.
