I am very negative towards the BOD and the way this has played out but I doubt very much this will go to 0.01 in the short term. The CODE investment and money in the bank must be worth more than that to our SP.

FOMO is the exact reason I am holding still. I have also been here since the restructure and when JN took control.
Some of the investments might come good in the future but its definately the SGS investment that has shafted us here. The way this has been communicated from all involved is poor. The directors not investing is also a red flag for me.

Looks like some have the same view and are taking the hit and selling out. Can't say I blame them.

Have Vela managed to bore us all to sleep.
We seem to have 1 day every so often where the volume picks up and a slight price increase. I have hope that it's a possible leak and new is about to break. The following days see zero volume and the price increase drop away to new lows.
Come on BOD, start earning your wages and do something.

Most mining companies seem to have rebounded a bit today. Why are UFO going down. Let's not forget the word bonanza was used in one of our recent updates.

Some of them may come good in the future but at the minute are stinkers. I am still Convinced that SGS will come to our rescue.

We have dropped a similar amount here, just over a longer period of time to SNG.

Don't worry, we invested in a successful Covid trial that will bail us out.

I agree, who cares if the trades are reported as red and blue. The important thing is the SP and how the company us progressing. I would say on both counts and to put it politely we are dfping garbage on both fronts.

It is not the drop today that is the problem it's the drop from 0.14 in September, day after day in the red since then.
It's not MMs. The market cap we are valued at is not far off what the cash in the bank and investments are currently worth. That includes righting off the SGS investment.

I would love for you to be right as I still hold alot of shares. They are worth next to nothing at the moment but you never know.
Sadly it is very simple why we are at this level. The SGS Deal has never materialised, shoddy other investments and very poor management that will not put their own money in or give us any relevant updates.

Nobody is buying in any great quantity. The volume and size of trades has been poor for weeks.

I cant copy and paste all Brents replys as the thread is quite big now. They are very poor though.

I have now had a response from Brent via email. I have to say his replys are nothing short of embarrassing. Not sure how he kept his job and JN really is not much better.

Below is an email somebody has posted on the Telegram group. It would appear that Brent was not even aware that SGS had posted this and Vela had put it in one of their RNS updates.

Shareholders wanted quarterly updates which we are now providing. As to SGS we continue to wait on information and perhaps in the meantime you could direct me to the 'almost immediately' RNS

As a board we continue to work with our advisors as we review potential new investments but these take time to complete

So that's a combined total of £150000 per annum. They are paid these sums for their level of expertise and I would imagine contacts. Not one of them has justified anywhere close to what they are being paid. I advise anybody on this board to email the BOD. Surely they don't think a quarterly report with no new information will keep people happy.

Brent was very quick to reply before the AGM. Since his re-appointment has has not bothered. It's easy money for our 3 board members. One investment every blue moon and no need to update websites, social media, communicate with share holders that have bothered to put their own money in.
What exactly are they being paid for. Does anybody know what their salaries are?

I have once again emailed the Vela BOD with the majority of the questions being talked about today. Yet to get a response.
To me Brent seems to be like a modern day premiership footballer. He started communication and performing better when his contract was up for renewal. Since he secured another contract for doing naff all, he has gone back into hiding. They need to get a grip and fast.

The last 6 months have been dull.
They seem to be doing so much to turn it around. Can bring myself to sell at 51% down. Has to go down as one of my worst investments for along time though.
