I too like to moan but am still invested. Our BOD do have form for doubling down on bad investments. We have invested twice in MODE. The SP has ticked up a bit recently but still one of our worse performing shares in our portfolio.

I did think that when the RNS came out. Why did we pay 1.8p but the share price of Igraine at the time was 1.3p

His ramblings have always amused me in what has been a very difficult and very frustrating period to be a Vela holder. However, you do seem to have gone a bit extreme as of late. I doubt there are any large investors left invested in Vela. They will have been given the heads up months ago to pull their money out, just like SGS did. To predict Vela will go down in the morning is also not a difficult task. We have gone down almost every day for 6 months.

Make your mind up. One minute we are in for a £400 million deal and the next big investors will be pulling out.

The only thing keep me invested is how I would be even more annoyed if I had sold out, then they did actually announce a commercial deal for AZD1656.
Highly unlikely and probably more chance of me loosing the lot but you never know.

SGS selling their Vela shares has proven to be a master stroke. It's almost like they knew exactly how long we would have to wait for a deal or that one would never actually happen.
Somebody else must have bought those shares. They must be as hacked of as we are right now.

I think anyone holding Vela is suffering. Its a very painful watch indeed.

I am suprised we have managed to cling onto 0.03 for so long. To be honest 0.02 or 0.03, it matters not. We are at this lowly SP because of our investments performance and the pathetic comms of the SGS trial.

To be fair Stevieiom, they are all valid questions. Another placing is expected at some point but surely not at this level.

Not much nudging up at the start of this week. Are we going to have another week without and decent news. If we do not get any news then there is no way we can hold the 0.03s.

Dickie is right, they cannot hold back the results. They are just delayed. As soon as Alien get them, they have to release the results via a RNS, good or bad.

You will certainly be getting alot more shares for your money than a few months ago. To think we used to moan on here when we where stuck in the boring trading range of 0.06-0.07p. Most would be over the moan for that now. Good luck either way. I am resigned to loosing the lot or possibly getting out with my initial investment in the next 12 months.

Andy companyZ, apart from the SP being so low, can I ask what is giving you confidence to invest more money in Vela? This is a genuine question. Are you investing long term or hoping SGS will come up trumps?

Even MODE is going up today. There is hope for us yet.

I have had numerous email correspondence with Brent Fitzpatrick. I have asked very basic questions and recieved nonsense replys on every occasion. I do not expect him to reveal price sensative information or any details not already known. I would have liked a response that at least makes me believe he is bothered about the current SP and performance of most our holdings. I have been a holder for well over 18 months so will hold for an update on the AZD1656 trial. I don't hold my breath though.

Is AZD1656 just not as effective as we had all hoped? Is that why we cant get a deal over the line or is this normal with medical trials?
