Yep, my thoughts exactly. A high majority of us have seen current investments tank but had very high hopes when the SGS trial was deemed a success. Most of us have read the RNS updates and have seen the SGS CEO state “Furthermore, should the trial be successful, we expect to agree a commercial deal with a partner almost immediately."
So I believe the phrase "patience is all you need" does not apply here, almost 8 months after the supposed success.
We have waited long enough. time to have a proper update and timelines. Especially now we have invested even more in the trial, via Igraine.

20 months later and shares are now worth 50% less. When you say patience, what kind of timeline are you putting on this?
Surely we would have expected better in the last 20 months than what our current portfolio is showing. Apart from CODE sand KNB, the rest at the moment are shockers.

4 trades today. Is Vela now one of the dullest shares on AIM.

In the past just before results have been released via a RNS we have seen a little rise. Is it just the spread or might we be getting results tomorrow or some time today. currently showing 6.25% up. Fingers crossed.

I really hope the word bonanza is used again when we finally get the EH results. As they say, good things are worth waiting for.

No I don't. Looking at the investments so far and how they are performing does not give me confidence to stay invested. Its either original stake out for me or lose the lot.

If we get anywhere close to 0.06 again then me and the Postman/Brent will finally be in agreement. I will be hitting the sell button as soon as possible. Apart from SGS/Igraine though, i honestly cannot see how we are going to double in price from here. Unless of course Brent resigns, that would certainly give us the feel good factor and might result in a little spike.

It's painful to see how our investments are performing. They have picked some shockers. If I was going to invest in any of our investments I would take a punt at CFCS.

I am not sure what you are not getting, so I will clear it up from my end. This is a chat board that can be used for positive, negative and neutral comments.
As an investor in Vela, that is currently down 60 % on my initial investment, I think I am more than entitled to have a moan. Especially when our fantastic BOD have not put a bean of their own money. They have also included in their own RNS, that a commercial deal would be agreed almost immidiately after a successful trial. I would not mind if there was a delay and they give us some new time frames, but they have not. So, therefore I am a little miffed. I am however aware this is Aim, it's very difficult to pick a winner. Vela at the moment are not even in the race.

Err no, I don't think I will sell at almost a 52 week low. Thanks for the advice though.

Postman/Brent, please enlighten us how you know there is serious work work going on in the background. Also please answer why the SGS CEO officially reported in an RNS that a deal would be agreed almost immediately on a successful trial result. We are still waiting many months after for this to happen. You are actually worse than Jimmy's deluded ramping.

Exactly, in the short term we are a one trick pony. If SGS comes good, we might get our money back or make a couple of quid. If it does not, then it will be a long time before our other investments will be able to get us back to the dizzy heights of 0.04p and beyond. Like you, i am kicking myself for not selling when SGS sold their Vela shares. The writing was on the wall then and our BOD have done nothing for 12 months to reassure current investors.

I am still holding a very small amount of hope that the trial will come good. Why would the BOD invest a further £400000 in Igraine if they had not been given the heads up that things where about to happen. The SP is certainly not looking very good again with some sells going through at 0.033 and very little interest. I do agree that if the trial is a dud then the BOD should either be resigning or kicked out. One thing for sure, if it is a dud the the bottom SP could be anything.

I do wonder what time frame our BOD class as fast track returns. I know the SP has gone up slightly from the recent lows but I do hope that's not it. Most of us have been waiting 18 months for some returns and have seen our investments now worth 50%+ less. We must be due our next quarterly update soon, lets hope there is something interesting reported to stop this drifting back to the low 0.03s.

It might drop further if he does not inform investors where the EH results are and how long till we finally get them.

As a holder of Vela I often look in on Cizzle as we have a common interest in the SGS trial for AZD1656.
I am looking at buying some Cizzle as the more I read the more I think the potential to rise here is better than Vela. My question for genuine LTHs is do you see more value to CIZ coming from the SGS trial or Chinese lung cancer detection?
