Just a reminder that our average is over 50p in Cornerstone. so along way to go before we are anywhere near in profit. I do find the last couple of Holding RNS very interesting though. Almost interesting enough for me to average down. Why are others increasing their stake in Vela. SGS will surely be updating about the trial soon enough.

To be fair I love a good moan about Vela and especially Brent. However, can't see anything negative in this news. Maybe can't sell them and we already knew about it but atleast we are not down. Makes a change and at least its communication.

Lets hope we are not adding SGS and Igraine to the disastrous share investment list. I have been clinging on to the fact JN stated he expects a return on our investment thus vindicating hid investment in the trial. The only thing that now worries me is that they had encouraging discussion with CSFS. That's not turned out the greatest.

It's like I posted yesterday. The Vela BOD has had discussions with Cornerstone and where encouraged by what they where being told.
Since then Cornerstone are down 70%. Where our BOD not asking the right questions or being lied to or just don't care.
Same with the AZD1656. Are they actually asking SGS what is going on and when we are expecting further news. If so, then why can't they inform us. Again, if they don't know then they should be finding out with 3 million invested.

When you see it like that's it brings home how bad our investments have been. The markets have been tough that last 2 years and alot of shares have dropped but JN is supposed to do this for a living.
They are not just random guys taking a punt on Aim to make a few quid. They are paid handsomely to make these investments. They need voting out ASAP or need to give us a full time line in the SGS trial

This is taken from the half year report. Our BOD had diusscussions with Cornerstone and where encouraged by what they where told. Are they just gullible or really could not care less. I go with the later.

The most disappointing of these is Vela's investment in Cornerstone FS plc, shares in which were listed on AIM in April 2021 at a price of 61p which at 30 September 2021 were trading at 27p. The Board of Vela has been in discussion with Cornerstone's management and has received explanations for the delays in Cornerstone achieving the plans set out in its admission document. Vela has been encouraged by these discussions and by a research note recently issued by Hardman & Co.

You could not make it up. Our investments are so bad they are now embarrassing. The next investor update is going to show our portfolio is even further down.
Our SP is rightly where it is on our current investments and general could not care less attitude from our BOD.
They need to be kicked out ASAP as they are being rewarded with a very decent wage for this disgrace.

Haha. Yes I do agree but I mean who has a bigger % of the Covid trial between Vela and CIZ. I keep reading up but there is that many people involved it's very hard to work out who will do better.

I believe and a few others have suggested we are a one trick pony and need the SGS trial to rescue us. A genuine question. Who would do better out of a commercial deal for AZD1656. Vela or CIZ?

Most CIZ holders are invested for the early detection of cancer tests that they have developed.

There seems to be a bit of agro on here that last 24 hours. Just to remind everyone this is a BB that people are entitled their own opinion and there is nothing wrong with a bit of healthy debate. I get that people do not like the constant negativity but I honestly do not know what people expect. The. BOD are in charge and the SP is a reflection on how they are performing.
I find the constant posts telling me to sell up and give it time equally as annoying as you probably find my negative posts. I see no reason to report it though as I read the posts, some times respond and move on. Like I said the other day, I urge you to email Vela yourselves and make your own mind up on our BOD as I have.

It's a toss up to CIZ or Vela being my worst holdings. Both seem to love a red day.

If anybody has bothered to email Vela then you will know why sentiment is low. I have previously exchanged emails with Brent and his replys where embarrassing at best. I asked about the "imminent deal" RNS and he was completely unaware this had even been released. I made the point on here and my message was then deleted. I can only assume Brent reported it. This shows how unprofessional they are as they are not even aware of their own RNS information. This has been backed up by last week's fiasco.
Before the Postman comes on here telling us all to sell, I am staying invested for the SGS deal only. I would hate to sell out and then SGS suprise us all with a bumper deal and the SP rockets. Once we have any conclusion to the AZD1656 trial I will be out, good or bad.

I would not always listen to what SGS and Vela state. This is from an RNS in December 2020.

Still more bothered about the SGS trial. We have over 3 million invested now. Yet we have no real news on where the trial is going or not going.

I agree if the trial does not come good then the investment in igraine is there worst yet. I thought 2 bites at MODE was bad but they really are proving to be useless.

Should stop the talks of early placings. Not cruling one out in the future but surely not for a while.

Hopefully this is the start of the uptrend. Good RNS
