A sale would make sense in so many other ways. The buyer would have a fantastic money tree to cash in on.

I don't understand charting

Monday - triple top boding ill

Tuesday - double bottom indicating price rising.

Naively I'd think that the gold, silver and zinc prices are more important.

Not forgetting zinc at a good price - we've known a lot higher but still pleasing to see.

Could you get an answer as to why they don't declare a dividend then?

That's the first time in 18 years as a shareholder that I've seen 200p as the ask price. I realise that isn't the actual spread but still lovely to see.

Not a fan of acquisitions - except in the Travis Perkins mould of buying up retiring owners' businesses. And GFM's record is appalling. Best use of GFM's cash is in our pockets IMO.

Could be anything but I want to get the disappointment of no dividend over and done with for another year.

On the basis of the mine being closed for the last 3 months of the Financial Year I would have thought the Annual Accounts could have been ready much earlier than previous years but they will actually be later:-

Either worse news than expected or something else to announce at the same time. Or the auditors were slow.

Good start to the week on gold, silver and zinc starting well up. GFM must be accumulating huge amounts of cash.

Whilst I agree there for GFM I'd love a bit more communication from the company. It's not like giving marketing information away to competitors.

Bid of 400p coming on Friday so we’re keeping our powder dry.

Personally I’m delighted but also loving Alumasc’s results and 5% SP rise.
