Craig , MRCH - similar to CTY has a good record and pays good divvies. You should diversify (US, Jap, Europe, Asia, Em Mkts) as having too much of your pot solely in UK stocks is very risky - plenty of ETFs around to do that. Also chuck some dosh in a Gold ETF or two as a hedge against stock market falls. I doubt you'll get 12% pa anywhere - that is unrealistic.

Actually, when times are tough and the great unwashed have to tighten their belts, the last thing they want to do is go to a Wetherspoons for fish & chips or a burger and a beer. What you want is a good quality treat so you just don't go out and save up for a decent night out with good beer and good food ... unsurprisingly Wetherspoons is not a decent night out. I very much doubt my kids and parents would be that enthralled if I said it's a treat tonight we're going to Wetherspoons.

SP still struggling to get off 13€. Fragile demand. Another loss posted. O'Leary gets his predictions wrong. Nothing much changes here. Banning customers who asked for refunds (due to pandemic) from flying was not the cleverest thing to do. Wizz Air seem to be taking a lot of custom away from RYA, their service is better and flights cheaper. High fuel prices will hit all airlines this next 12 months.

Happy with today's rise. Good to see markets are responding to results now. My target is 21xx.
