Good to see the upwards momentum continuing.

The disruption will be absolutely crippling Ryanair who work on very tight margins. Fact : strikes are causing delays and cancellations. Fact : Ryanair will have to fork out compensation. Fact : compensation often exceeds the price punters paid for their flights in the first place. Fact : it also puts off people from booking with Ryanair in future. Fact: Ryanair's reputation is further damaged.

72p will be the new low soon. Definitely things looking a lot better for BOO the last couple of months.

The good thing is WIZZ are giving that bunch of cowboys at Ryanair a good run for their money. You will also not have to wait a year for your refund unlike Ryanair. Why not sell some of your RYA shares and buy into WIZZ ?

Good price for a buy IMO. 9% drop well overdone. Results were good but nervousness in markets about looming recession but at this price well worth the risk.

7% rise this week while FTSE is flat. Plenty upside to come if they keep delivering results like this.

Trend is definitely up recently. Positive that 72.6 was hit today. Will be hit again. Fill yer boots for an easy 10%.

Keep ramping guys. SP down again today and still languishing around 12.5€. No post pandemic recovery here.

The struggle between Ryanair's unions and management has only just begun.
After June and July were marked by strikes at airports, two Ryanair cabin crew unions, Unión Sindical Obrera (USO) and Sitcpla, have called for a walk out that will last five months running from 8 August to 7 January 2023.
The industrial action will take place every week, from Monday to Thursday, and will last 24 hours, sources from USO told Euronews. Their demands include a call for the immediate reinstatement of the 11 workers fired for striking this July.

There is more grim reading for RYA fanboys on the link at the top. Mikey can say what he wants but the truth is not looking very good. Best to sell and take your losses on the chin.

Most of the people I socialise with are frequent travellers. They have decided not to travel this year. The chaos at Easter and Whitsun and early summer have put them off. The basket case government, Covid worries and cost of living hasn't helped. The people with cash are simply not travelling. All good for UK economy. Don't think there will be a recession as all the real cash is being spent here in the UK. The so-called crowds at airports are because the airports haven't got the staff (thanks to Brexit) to handle the numbers.

70s next couple of weeks. You know it makes sense. Be patient.

Results excellent. Last tranche now well into decent profit. 25% gain in a month ain't too shoddy but I reckon there's more to come here.

BT has a consistent record of always disappointing ... bit like RYA.

Sorry if I got the dates wrong. Maybe the strike dates are not yet announced but my postie said 98% of his union have voted to strike and he apologised for the inevitable upcoming delays.
