To correct an earlier ramp ... RYA peaked at 10.00am and then fell back 5%. Burning their cash pile as passenger numbers fall. Covid restrictions in place for 6 months, said Boris. Avoid.

Excellent results - possibly lower growth than markets expected which accounts for ~5% fall in SP. However, in these times rare growth like this will be rewarded in long term and SP is very tempting BUY currently. Dividend adjusted but still being paid. Good news.

As I predicted a while ago, Ryanair have yet again reduced their forecast for future passenger numbers. They seem to be changing their numbers every week. Terrible for business credibility to be doing this so regularly. The latest forecast is for October (only 8 days away) so not much of a forecast. The SP will suffer. Press quote below (not my opinion):

"The Irish low-cost airline now expects its October capacity to decrease from 50% to approximately 40% of October 2019 levels. Ryanair further warned that “if current trends and EU Governments’ mismanagement of the return of air travel and normal economic activity continue,” then there might be similar capacity cuts in its winter schedule (November-March).

Saw "Des" on ITV , great production and good acting by David Tennant et al. Will sell well overseas. New season will see jungle based in UK - saving production costs but still pulling in the viewers. Things looking up for ITV.

but RYA is down. Doesn't bode well for the future. RYA always struggles to hold on to 12€. Next month when furlough is stopped they will have to pay for redundancies or pay their workers without much flying going on. All bad news unfortunately at the moment. I wonder ............ will the SP drop to fair value of 8€ ?

The Company will announce its preliminary results on Wednesday 23 September. Been an adjustment due to Covid. Hopefully they've taken full advantage of the demand for soap and hand san.

I think Portugal will be added to quarantine list very soon (opinion). Cases now up as high as April 27th (fact). Ryanair operate a lot of routes to/from Portugal (fact). GLA DYOR

A "disruptive" passenger on board a Ryanair flight from Dublin to Tenerife has been arrested after an altercation with Civil Guard officers after landing.
It is alleged that the man, understood to be Irish, attacked four police officers when told to put on a mask.
All four were said to have been injured and two had to take medical leave.
The alleged incident happened at Tenerife's south airport on Thursday.
