RYA cash burn must be reaching unprecedented levels. Nicola Sturgeon has sensibly told her loyal subjects not to holiday in October. I would personally extend this to the whole UK and for 12 months at least. With so many European countries now on the UK quarantine list (Denmark, Iceland and Slovakia most recently) it is far easier to list the FEW European countries of any notable worth that are EXEMPT from quarantine:
Cyprus
Germany
Italy
Norway
Poland
Turkey

Just be careful of the rampers and the pump and dump brigade. Loads have suddenly materialised here in last year or so. Some highly praised posters are getting plaudits but they've been playing a game. I know who you are. It used to be a quiet board. I've been in BOO for 4 years now and (only occasionally) taken profits and rebought along the way - always tricky to pick the top and bottom and nothing is certain in this game. Going by past history anything can happen but in the long term (2 yrs) 500p is pretty much nailed on. FWIW I think 400 plus easy next week. Then it will retrace but I will hold for the inevitable 500 in 2 years (or earlier). BTW I'm pretty sure October half term will see a full 2 week Covid lockdown, aka more business for online retailers.

Late day rise from low of 142p to 171p (20% rise) is always interesting. Fell back to 155p but signs are some big buyers are interested. Savvy investors will have noticed this. Time for some bottom fishing next week.

It hit 425 intraday high around 16 June so add a modest 10% for great lockdown results so I predict 467p

Stellar results next week and 400p plus the rest. Anything at 36x is a great buy.

SP hit a high of 240p today then dropped back. I notice that PZC quite often gets these crazy spikes that then settle back - sometimes for weeks. Lots of volume today early doors. Maybe MMs trying to tempt a few sellers out to fill some big BUY orders. My target was @220 but having seen 240 hit today and the volume, I'm adjusting my target up to 240. Bit greedy maybe? I don't have much invested tbh.

Those deals are a guess whether they're Buys or Sells and the algorithm must be getting a few wrong as SP has come down from 380s to 360s. Still, with stellar results due next week anything around 36x is a great buy price IMO.

Yes, I'm feeling so very sad about another drop in the RYA SP today. Maybe it's due to Mikey's rash comments about November/December bookings being at 10% of normal? Maybe dishy Rishi's new measures are going to cause a bit more cash burn for RYANAIR? Never mind, look on the bright side - I mean look at BOOHOO - up 18% so far today. Now there's a good share to make a few grand from.

Add in the 3p divvi due soon and SP is at 215. Very impressive recovery.

IIRC I think I warned here a while back about the 2nd COVID wave coming and the problems of schools and unis returning.

In addition (no surprise to me) there are outbreaks and self isolation at Dundee, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Unis too. Now the English Unis were back a week or two later than Scotland ... so expect London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield - basically every city in England to start spreading the virus in their flat parties too. Closing the pubs at 10 will not very little effect on this major source of Covid outbreaks.

Unfortunately I can't see many positives in the statement. SP doing well for now but I'm not confident this will continue. Future redundancies and likely another recession not good for UU. This however will be offset by UU being viewed as defensive play in tough times.

... here is Mikey O'Leary's prediction on Peston last night.
Asked how bad the current situation is for airlines, he said: "It's never been worse. We operated about 50% of our schedule through August, September, we expect to operate only 40% of our schedule into October and at the moment November and December look like they're booking at around 10% of our normal volumes."

Normally this sort of price sensitive information should be released through an RNS, not on Peston.

Never mind, England finally has a track and trace app - one of the last countries in Europe to get an app, so I'm sure everything will be alright.
