Cost Cutting - l expect to see some people leave and good to hear 301 and BC201 frozen, Barcelona returned back for further evaluation and 101 we know many moons ago and the closure of the London office achieved significant cost savings under Suzy. The lab income will also dilute the cash burn relatively shortly too.

Evaluation IP - CLX with Kings was the cherry just recently and l feel this will be a game changer. In faith we have Cathy who is doing a great job with SAB to identify promising new candidates with Cathy’s fave being Stingray she said in Q&A.

201 - ME has served an ultimatum on THX so its fight or flight, so if flight will be offered to other interested parties so will be licensed at some point IMHO OR we may all be struck down in disbelief and THX perform!

401 -Ambrose have nearly raised the funds and we are informed from their website that they like the product so we will hear in the next 3 months.

CLX - this l am hoping will be licensed early and very exciting at the results thus far.

Placing - normally 40% discount so can’t see why this would be any different and VAL have always filled these with the retail offering snapped up the same day historically. I’m in for it as l think we have turned a massive corner after ME appointment and a sad 2024 to date.

Lab - will be generating income by year end if not before we are told from the presentation.

BOD - now have experienced commercial practitioners (not just science) with substantial shareholding with skin in the game, so a pull back on just the science as historically to a 100 % focus on monetising assets

Sorry (clock) plus haven’t Ambrose raised over half their fund raising at their last update in the funding rounds?

ME knows damn well he has to sell the IP fast, get the lab profitable as a shareholder himself plus the other stock holding directors that are underwater like us PI’s.

Let’s see what happens but when you have your skin in the game it’s a real game changer and l for one am willing to give him and the board a chance to turn things around.

I have made some good money from VAL under Suzy before 2023 and yes now underwater with my balance but l for one will subscribe to the placing (which l think is in the cards) with a fixed amount l have in mind and give this one last shot resting my assumptions on CLX being partnered at early stage in 2025, the lab also in 2025 making a significant contribution to cash flow and in turn cash burn and pulling an ultimatum (click) on THX by ME is the best thing that could happen which will force them to fight or flight and allow new parties to enter the fold for 201.

401 not the greatest IP but who knows, Ambrose may provide a lifeline and see some value if not just in palliative care.

As for the other IP ME is right to freeze BC201 and 301, hand back Barcelona if more work required which is a bold move and 100% correct concentrating resources on value.

l believe Cathy is very excited about Stingray and it will be interesting to continue to build the evaluation products in to the portfolio at minimal cost being proceeded through Inaphea.

Very sad about John Rat yes, but no not the same as the BoD (and Suzy was) trying to sell out / license the legacy assets and move on to the new investment strategy of attracting promising University and other institutions IP and develop to the point where the assets can be commislised.

Cobalt, depends if one has taken up the placing as they have happened…. if so one would never be diluted. If not a bit silly really as if you remain an investor you are being diluted and if you don’t want to invest then begs the question why keep holding?

You misunderstand - the clients of the brokers

Porky , if a placing is coming in the 4th Qtr it has always historically been filled by institutional clients 100% and the PI discounted raise is snapped up in a shot the same day from my experience so no problems in my eyes to get the money in.

I think 2025 will be a very exciting year whereas sadly there has been too much turbulence in board changes et al in 2024 Albeit ME was confident at the presentation that the lab will be producing profits by year end if not before and we should get news on Ambrose and science updates too on progress.

I think when ME referred to the US and Eurozone l think it was not just lab marketing but potential markets to sell on or license out VAL’s products nearing commercial inception points such as CLX and perhaps 201 if THX don’t do the deal by his deadline date, so ME is certainly making his mark, pardon the pun!

We know there will be a loss and yes interesting to see CAB as we don’t really know what the cash burn has been like and whether we have received any grant, tax credits or lab money for example so take a chill pill.

Why should you care about CAB or placing or no placing or the IP at all? Why post if of no interest and not invested?

Firstly, 401 deadline for Ambrose is end of year so don’t speculate too soon.

Secondly, ME confirmed this week that 201 / THX should happen soon.

Guys, the upshot is relatively straightforward….

1. Make the lab profitable - hopefully by EOY we are told from memory? This could become quite a cash cow in time.

2. Cut out the dead wood - freeze any IP that is non-urgent which has been confirmed at the presentation for BC201, 301 and today ended Barcelona. Good, so they can concentrate resources on the quality assets.

3. We have given the benefit of the doubt many times to THX l know but now the fourth director to confirm in EM who expects this to complete soon - happy to wait TBH

4. Fast track CLX to a deal ASAP - l believe 3 months left in the recent presentation mentioned by Cathy?

5. BoD looks much leaner and we have now major shareholders with skin in the game

So not all doom and gloom , plus many investors should not invest in Bio if they cannot stomach a 5 year outlook from inception of a discovery, albeit VALs strategy is to fast track its IP to commercialisation early and let the big boys and girls take it to the next stage which is the right thing to do!

Lol, that’s the whole point of an evaluation program - do some testing and if any good progress (such as CLX or Stingray) and if no good say thanks but no thanks and progress the existing IP

Lol, Porky give it a rest now mate as you’re embarrassing yourself with your desperation to try and sink VAL. The value is the IP and quite clear from ME’s presentation (were you there?) that they have a clear strategy by a new board who have their skin in the game!

Placing or no placing VAL will continue and is at the brink of commercialisation that will be a game changer and fulfil the longevity and profitability of the company.

Obviously this does not include lab revenues and possibly 401 in the next 3.5 months.

He’s a clever chap and l’m sure he has good reasons to base that statement, which to be fair has been echoed by Suzy, Kevin as well as Mark just now most recently Adrian, the latter two of course having sizeable shareholdings!

I think it has been a tumultuous time with THX but this fills me with confidence which when nailed on will provide cash flow for 18-24 months and free up CLX to hopefully commercialise by mid 2025 all being well.
