Hey Yuri, can't argue with any of that. Much to my own chagrin as pretty underwater with my holding now. I guess I just have to wait it out, don't have much appetite to average down right now. What I figured might be a 12 month hold has probably turned into 2-3 years now. Which is fine as I don't desperately need the capital I sunk into these shares.

I guess we'd see that reflected in the short % / stats

Bought volume seems pretty freaking strong at the moment.

Bought value actually looking very healthy today, even though it's a bit of a sketchy metric.

Not the SP disaster I was expecting. Results are fine and not a million miles away from what was expected. I guess best move is to continue to hold and wait for recovery. No way I am selling whilst 35% down.

Fireblade1, I was thinking the same. Surely their core audience are somewhat sheltered from inflation, living at home, etc. Clothes / Fashion will likely still figure in a big way.

Agree that we could do with new CEO news, but would rather they take their time and get it right.

Thanks for the clarification Andy. Yes, I haven't really made much on the SP bar the dividend. My cash could probabaly be working harder elsewhere. I should probably sell my main holding when this next gets north of £1.40. But, this is a fun little experiment to see if I can trade the swings a bit. IPF remained surprisingly robust during the pandemic and the last trading update was very positive all things considered.

If anything, with high inflation and rising commodity prices their business is likely to boom.

Thanks Andy. I actually inherited some IPF shares about 12 years ago. I've been watching the markets more carefully for the last 4 years and feel like I have a good appreciation of how this share behaves now (as much as you can). It just looked like a screaming buy to me.

Not sure I understand the comment from hxulcolrdoh about the CFO not buying shares on the 6th as it was in a news bulletin as a 'BUY', am I mis-reading this?

Huh... seems to have been reported as a 'BUY'. Still, I see a good upside with the SP this low.

The CFO buy show confidence, so I pulled the trigger here. Only went in for £500 but worth a punt.

Tangentially related, but I think IPF is a steal right now, even if you're just trading the dip to grab a quick 10% upside. CFO bought today.

Watching this drop today, and regretted not buying last time it went to around 80-90p. The upside seems pretty damn good. I can't be the only one sitting on the sidelines thinking this is a good opportunity?

Unsure why main market listing would stop volatility! We aren't going to see that major upswing until Ukraine and rampant inflation is 'resolved' in some way. Patience needed here folks.

Swing back to profit (4.1m) and dividend of 12p per share for FY'21, which represents a pay-out ratio of adjusted continuing earnings of approximately 30%. Going forwards, we anticipate moving towards a pay-out ratio of adjusted earnings of circa 40% from FY'22 onwards.

Closure of CCD took a big chunk of profit, but this looks a lot better than 2021. Back on track I'd say. FINALLY.

I think macro factors are going to keep the markets depressed for a while and Asos will be no exception. Inflation running rampant right now and no end in sight for the Ukraine conflict.

Will be interesting to see Q4 results and if that can give things a bump. If NEXT is anything to go by, it won't be that great. So yeah, it's a long term hold now. Historically, these prices are still very low and anyone getting in now will likely do well in 1-2 years time.

Nice bump from Ukraine peace talk optimism, just shows you how much of the market FUD is currently linked to Ukraine. Unsure this will last, but probably great for the day traders (not me... Hahaha).

For once, this move inspires confidence. Ex-HSBC, the tide may finally be turning.

I keep eyeing it for a top up, but same here, I'm fairly underwater on this position. I'm tempted to wait until results then make a decision.

£72, in the current climate of high inflation, seems a bit ridiculous.
