Interesting article cheap, I think part of DW's problem was he was an ex banker, did great to get the finance in place but wouldn't negotiate on price which alienated the co from the market in some respect. Now the deals are going through at a much lower rate per MHZ, as is the case with the industry as whole. One thing seems clear though Avanti seems to be here to stay.

Having worked in Tanzania many times over the years the government that came in a few years ago have changed many things and are ruthless, to the point where the company I work for have virtually pulled out of the country, it's not a good situation for foreign companies in Tanzania which is a big shame. Although I'm not in the oil and gas industry the general feeling over there is not good at the moment. GL all.

I agree Baits and until a few months ago I had presumed he was a LTH until he shared his UKOG average on here which could only have been achieved by dumping when he was pumping! So yes your kettle black pot was comment was correct.
