Baffyman, The one question I do have about the BRH test is......It can process 1000's of tests in seconds, But how do you get the samples to the machine and how long will it take?

Remember to bank profits, don't listen to the rampers. The 40% 'better' is based on the innova LFT which will be phased out once stocks run out and is clearly not good enough, and the large elephant in the room is how on earth do you get the strips to the machine, combined with a very rampy management is a dangerous share is this one.

I agree diplomat about the UK being only a part of the market, I was refering to the UK test, I don't think the Euro press is as bad as the UK. Brand the GOV test here then licence out our tech and they can print made in the EU or wherever on the non UK ones, If we get the the results we want it will be worldwide demand but Its going to take time.

Be good if they could one day make a test that combines N & S and also include FLU and Norovirus, a one stop shop. My only concern is will the public trust the LFT's with deeks and co trying to destroy it to make a name for themselves. It's going to take some marketing to change the public's mind, probably the best randing will be a union jack plastered all over the packaging, made in Britain.

I think the test is cheap, vaccine produced at cost. All very well and good getting the vaccine in the rich areas meanwhile the virus mutates in un vaccinated areas then spreads back to rich areas, worst fear is the vaccine not effective on new mutant strains. Look at the figures from the welsh report, cost of test V cost of hospital addmission and treatment. Big savings for the Gov to invest in testing in the long run.

I've been fully loaded in AVCT since last March and decided to sell a part of another non covid medical share which I've held for 12 years to invest in here. Hi Poppysdad, To answer your question, its because in general the LFT has been given bad press, by the likes of deeks & co. My take on it is the previous bad LFT results are because the brain tickler innova tests were not done properly by the person being tested. What avacta has is an LFT using magic Affirmirs with no need to swab the brain just up the nose will do. I really hope the Avacta test will do 100/100 thats the dream.

Maybe deeks can supply the eggs to Tom Winnifroth at his pizza shop.

There isn't a BA contract goldrig, one of the positive posters said 'BA will be all over this' on the same day as BA announced yesterday it will be using an LFT, that was then jumped on as if BA has signed a contract for this companies offering. It was somewhere around £10 next week, FTSE100 listing, CEO not selling posts. GL

Quickdraw, I think you've got your numbers mixed up wrt AVCT's S&S.

In fact, the higher the Ct, the smaller the viral load, and vice versa. So AVCT did their tests appropriately and in fact their sensitivity of 97% related to Ct <26 (half in the range 22-26).
