RNS7 Jun 2021 10:29
Just in case some folks can't comprehend. The only "news" in that RNS was the financial aspect that confirms that the £2.5M was an upfront loan that will be clawed back on any initial orders until it is repaid.
So as of today, ODX has no idea what test to make. There is no NDA, they are not making tests for the uk government. Those test making facilities that the gov loaned, are sitting doing nothing, except making some bits of plastic and plastic bags. Given its for "other lft being deployed in the uk", its either Innova or Surescreen parts. This is exactly the same situation as the company was in on the 30th of April RNS.
Those 250 employees that people keeping rabbiting on about are not making a single government test.
So an announcement in Feb of the capacity agreement, an update on 30th of April saying they have no information on the test, and another 'update' today saying the exact same thing. You'd think that if there was ANY good news for ANY orders for ANY lfts, this would be the RNS to announce them, to give investors some confidence that something of volume had been ordered. But once again, ODX fails to tell investors of any orders. After, all in mid march we were told regarding the visitect antigen test "commercial roll-out which is expected to start in April. The Company is already in discussion with a number of potential commercial partners looking to order the test post launch.". An RNS in june with no update on this ?
As a reminder to those new to the share, other than 250K units, ODX has not announced a single order for any covid related lfts EVER.
"Omega is not in control of this process and this is taking longer than originally expected but the Company will provide a further update once a test is confirmed"
"taking longer than expected". He should have that phrase as a defined shortcut on his keyboard. IMO He has consistently misread timelines, volumes, and demand throughout the pandemic, and today's RNS shows no sign of changing.
