2M received after year end 31st March.7 Jun 2021 12:15
That was an interesting unnecessary piece of information that was in the RNS.
with all that preproduction, all that ramp up of staff, and if you are to believe some of the rather rosy complexion spectacle wearers here, all that stock build up, I say the chance of ODX hitting that £5.5M-£6M cash balance that was predicted for the end of year, is next to zero given the lack of any announced customers or orders. The RNS tells us only 0.5M was received from uk gov in the year ending Mar 31st. Where are they getting the money to sustain the cash balance at projected levels. Clipping together a few bits of plastic and pouch stuffing isn't going to cut it.
And remember in a tweet on the ODX account that occurred 1 month AFTER the end of year, it was stated
"There is no reason to change that range. We continue retain a *very* healthy cash position. "
For the company twitter account to say no reason to change, means its been considered on that day.
If it turns out that that tweet, from the company, a month after the year end, is not backed up by the historical cash balances, they can't used the £2M as an excuse, but might they try ?
Oh, before I forget whatever happened to this tweeted excuse:- "We also have the small matter of National and regional elections on May 6 to contend with. Politically, the impending elections mean that the DHSC are limited in terms of what can be announced. "
that came out on the 27th of Apr. So 6 weeks since the gov is no longer limited by what it can announce....what next, Euro2020 limiting the government ?
