So they go public about pre-action legal documents, said they wrote to everyone under the sun without getting adequate responses, and suddenly all is good in the world and Mologic gets the nod ? Extremely unlikely imo.

Since the announcement of the contracts, Mologic and Surscreen were the two that it could have been. Mologic, because both GAD and ODX were preping up to make it, and surescreen, as the other known uk test that actually was ordered by uk gov.

But ODX has recently told us that they've been in discussion with several owners of tests that have passed existing validation (i.e. PD level 3a). So there are others in the mix.

Surescreen has been PD approved since March. If it turns out to be selected by uk gov, and ODX gets told to make it, it will expose all the lies of uk gov wanting uk produced tests, as ODX could have been manufacturing it for months.

I should remind you that ODX was going to produce 2M every week in April. Wrapping manually, automatically, or with the help of Stormzy, they had the systems in place to get 2M out the door every week back in April. Additionally in the Q&A CK stated they had EVERYTHING in place to do 2M a week. And no it is also not to increase capacity beyond 2M, because once again CK made it clear they would not be doing that, but ensuring that they try to get some production out of their existing capacity. All said before this fabled golden cow piece of machinery was dropped of the back of a low loader.

Whatever this piece of equipment is doing, its not instrumental in doing 2M a week, every week.

Personally I think it's to speed up wrapping the stuff they are making for a 3rd party on behalf of HMG, that would seem the only logical conclusion, given everything the CEO said.

they did say in the 30th of April update:-

They should have been in discussions since Xmas 2020. However, even going from the above, it is clear that ODX has now been "in discussions" for over 3+ months now at the least, and no orders. It was me that asked the question in the recent Q&A about an implicit reputational hit for the visitect test from PD repeated failure of the mologic test.

The Mologic test has received extensive independent validation on the test, including the recent study conducted by FIND a World Health Organization collaborating centre and the positive study data we announce on 1 June. Performance data shows that the test fulfills the WHO target diagnostic accuracy with a high sensitivity (93.2%-98.4%) detecting individuals with high viral load infections (Ct<20 and Ct<25). As we’ve mentioned above we believe that the simplification of the sample collection method resolves this unique issue of failure rate seen at Porton Down – which hadn’t been experienced in any other study.

It is noteworthy that in replying they mention that the revised version does not have the issue that PD failed it on. This might be suggestive of the fact that customer engagement had fed back that they were not happy taking a test that PD refused to validate.

I wonder did they take their eye off the ball when it came to looking for sales? It brings the big delay in looking for customers into new focus. They knew they would be making this test since before Christmas

If you are so sure in Feb that HMG is going to take you entire capacity in April and beyond, that you tweet it out, why do you need to look for customers, in fact is there any point when you won't have any capacity to supply them ?

I should add it is clear from the infamous twitter posts of "deliver 2M per week in April" that they expected their entire 2M weekly capacity to be taken up by HMG, demonstrated by the fact they have not announced any orders.

ODX have also made it completely clear how important the HMG order is to them in the full results:-

Hope so, but we've been waiting on the first order announcement in 2021, and we are into Aug. The country/gov are currently leaning in the direction that the worst is over. ODX is certainly not the "right place right time" company, that it was this time last year, where it was just on the cusp of a massive antibody order, with an antigen test being developed ready for when the priorities changed, and in a pandemic that didn't have a vaccine and whose outcome was unknown.

The suggestion (rightly or wrongly) is that the uk gov has all the tools in place, things are far far better than they were, adamant that they will be no more severe lockdowns. And regardless of what might happen with FDA/CE, ODX's main play since this time last year has been supplying uk gov, and with at least 50% of its capacity reserved for that one customer, it is abundantly clear that is still the case. To have therefore only supply 250K mostly finished units to that customer is frankly a disaster and if any "happy clappy" poster here says different they are only fooling themselves.

BIgHero's....they must be about to run out of Innova tests. the fact that ODX is nowhere near in a position to replace any shortfall is rather important here.

We also had the start of 3 days of speculation about Boris arriving in Scotland and a potential visit to ODX...that was good for about 50 posts.

On Wednesday we had

And the frenzy building to this certain visit by BJ to Alva.
And a visit from "its all going swimmingly well" BJ36, telling us to forget all about the 1st half of the year (£2.50 march april anyone ?), and that the 2nd half of the year is going to brilliant, that he's filter every single person that tells him otherwise, and that a guy over 5M shares told him his target price was £1.20-£1.70, but didn't give a target date. What he failed to consider is that a person with that many shares isn't going to tell anyone their real target price, but he might use a useful idiot to disperse some fanciful figures, knowing that said person loves to be "in the know".

we had the spokespeople from the telegram fan club, giving us the full sell on how great it is...the juicy news they must know has to be amazing :)

Its' simple. We need order announcements, or an announcement that HMG has picked a test. Anything else is just soapy rampy lather.

Remembering at best it'll take 4-6 weeks from a HMG announcement to providing tests to HMG, unless by some minor miracle ODX waves a magic wand and gets the visitect test CE approved for self test, as they can make that one immediately. Remember we were told only yesterday by Wallbrook, courtesy of computer909 that "They have begun that submission process", that doesn't sound to me like it's even fully submitted yet.

Any other conjecture is just smoke and mirrors, orders and HMG selection is what this SP is waiting on.

Based on this assessment, the logical conclusion is there has been nothing to leak for quite a while.

"misfortune" ?, but its been a wonderful buying opportunity for months now, the fountain of knowledge that is BJ36 has told you its going to go £1.20-£1.70. Now I understand he left out a minor thing of when, and I know he said "£2.50 March/April", but leaving those minor niggles aside, how can this situation be described as being a "misfortune".

I said before I'm not entirely sure which comes first but I *think* ODX needs a CE approved product before it can be submitted to DHSC for consideration.

You can not determine a particular level with a LFD just yes/no. As CK said, its mostly likely use is in countries that have not rolled out vaccination. In those countries a +ve antibody test means you've had covid,so can be used to priortise vaccines to those that have not had covid.

Original poster apparently just decided to take random unassociated facts (Lord B's phone, a stagnant SP etc), and conclude its ODX time !

well if twitter is very upbeat remortgage your house immediately and put it into ODX, cause twitter to definitely the place to get company information :)

Unfortunately the bad PR that Innova has raised simply falls into "Lateral Flow test are crap" heading as far as public awareness goes.
