ODX putting all their eggs in the Mologic antigen basket has been the issue. And all the fault doesn't go on the gov. Gov has around 50% of ODX capacity. What is happening to the other 1M per week capacity. If it's simply a case of PD working to the gov agenda, why aren't the other 1M a week antigen orders flying out the door. It's not like ODX haven't had enough time to do any deals. They started TT-ing this test end of Nov 2020.

So it's been 9+ months that this test was part of their strategy, "engagement" with the customers should be long over, we've been told time and time again, that demand far far outstrips supply. The world is gagging for LFTs "apparently".

The announcement in ODX's results that they are working on a variant of the test, is highly revealing. Either there is indeed an inherent issue in the nature of the original test as identified by PD, the top relevant lab in the uk for such things, or the test has been so badly tarnished by that failure that ODX has decided that it has to rejig it.

I think we can all agree that they aren't modifying it for no reason, and if you believe it is coincidental that PD failed it.......

Here we are the wrong side of the middle of August, no orders, no announced gov test. so the likelihood of shipping any antigen tests to gov in September is diminishing, whereas where we are supposed to be at this stage is having shipped 30m tests. (2Mx15 weeks).

In hindsight, ODX have tied their hands by leaving too many key decisions outside their control. The lead of RTC project, ABDX, the entity that has sole responsibility for garnering sales of the test, is doing so well they just announced redundancies., and can't even get the money from the original 1M tests 7 months after delivery. In Mologic, who was the entity responsible for submitting and communicating with DHSC and PD regarding getting the antigen test passed, we had a privately held company with little appetite or interest in making a profit that has now ridden off into the gates/soros "social enterprise" horizon.

I wish these guys would decide, one minute I'm some notorious shorter guy, the next minute I'm being paid 10p a post, and mixed in their I'm supposedly hurling torrids of personal abuse at the CEO (wrong, wrong and also wrong). I guess demonising just makes things easier for some.

Its familiar because its true, ODX has no sales, it appears to many that companies "in the know" have had £1Bs of contracts, from publicans with PPE, to chinese with "off the record" discussions, and who here would be questioning the integrity of such deals if ODX was reaping in those 2M a week sales because they were on the "VIP" lane.

I'm thinking the problem was ODX didn't get into the right lane. If the company had, not many would be complaining from the resultant contracts. When it comes to gov contracts it has become very clear that it's all about connections. and ODX/ABDX etc reasonably thought it was about having products that they wanted.

Speaking of ABDX, ODX SP might be bad, but ABDX is down from an initial listing price of 96 back in Dec 2020 to 27p. Those institutions that backed it can't be too happy.

So this is a table of all those that are still in the submission stage, called "active applications", once complete it no longer appears in this table. There appears to be 5 stages, the 4 that are annotated at the top of the table, plus there is another one in the table itself "awaiting submission".

The mologic antigen test is in "information requested from manufacturer"
I note the mologic antibody test is also listed and with the dossier review indicating "in process".
Does this suggesst that the mologic antibdoy test is still in the submission stage ?

Anyway, all the flannel and rather sad acrimony aside, the most important pending development remains news regarding the government test selection and purchase orders. Not FDA or EU stuff. Don't believe me, believe the full results RNS a few weeks ago that said the significance of ODX's covid opportunity is very much dependent on the government contract.

For being friday the 13th, this turned out to be by far the least scariest day of the week, with ODX ending up a couple.

That's extremely sloppy/careless in my opinion, if the company has not revealed the capital tied up amount, how can an outsourced PR company know it is not a material amount, and what defines a material amount? I'm not saying the information is incorrect, but knowing the stock build up of a particular product line is not 'material' sounds like sensitive information, that if released, should be broadcast for all, not just on a per inquiry basis. And note, he did not say at the last results, or whatever, so are we left to assume this is information about the current trading period, for which no financials have been released ? the CEO himself was at pains NOT to state production levels or stockpile levels in the Q&A.

Q65: Can Omega confirm what % of capacity has been utilised over the past 6 months for production and what exactly has been manufactured/stockpiled in anticipation of orders.

Ample opportunity to give a flavour of the the stockpile levels, which the CEO declined to take. The indicator in the actual financials was just over £2M of inventory.

Whereas the RNS we actually got was from ABDX, the RTC lead, saying they made a load of people redundant.

Any outstandings should show up somewhere in the full year accounts.

I agree that twitter is 99.9% just garbagy nonsense. However,information dispersed from a twitter account for a public company, under its control, falls under the same stock market regulations as information dispersed from any other communications platform that they care to use.
