My position should have zero impact on how you read a government PDF, and the data inside it.

I have never discussed share dealings on any board, it has zero impact on the facts, RNS, financials or anything related to a company's prospects, and I find it weird that people either have need to reveal their trades or know other peoples.

Thats as best is a couple of "perhaps".

New variant is only widely discussed in the last 6-8 weeks. So your argument is that a gov doc 3 weeks ago either just decided not to mention that the mologic test was already tested against it, or that it's been tested in the intevening 3 weeks.
That's confirmational bias.

Given that pdf also additionally states the 5 tests that have either passed phase 3, are in in, or will commence, with no mention of mologic, which we know hada runout in liverpool amongst other places in oct/novc , it has to raise some concerns that currently mologic is currently not on the favorued list. All of the tests on that list have had government orders.

And that's not even dialing in the fact that we have no idea if the ODX tt-ed test will assume any accreditation and validation that mologic might have, or not.

The inference from many here is that Mologic has been in field trials with Uk gov for many months, such as in liverpool. If it has been, then nobody decided that it should be tested against the new variant. Given the new variant has only been widely discussed for about 4-6 week, a gov statement 3 weeks ago relating to all the tests tested against it, has to be definitive.

Yes page is just 3 weeks old. Also calls out by name those tests that are being evaluated in the "new year" for phase 3.

Also remember, that in those 3 weeks, ODX was closed for 2 of them.

this page relates to testing of certain LFTs to ensure they still perform against the new variant. Five tests are called out by name.

Fortress
Innova
Roche / SD Biosensor nasal swab
Surescreen

You will note that surescreen recently got a contract.

Those 5 are the ones that have been confirmed to work against the new variant. Of additional importance to us is that it says that innova has completed phase3, Abbot is in the midst, and the other 3 will do field test in early 2021.

Only the listed 5 were tested for the new variant.

Its clear that the gov would want whatever tests are at advanced evalution, to be tested against the new variant.

The clear problem for us is Mologic is not one of them. How can ODX even be considered for immient antigen LFT orders, when the test they are TT-ing, the mologic one, isn't being called out in the most recent Gov doc on evalution. ?

The list on that page just kills in the water any notion that the mologic test is at advanced stages of validation. Surecreen now being named is consistent with them just getting that recent antigen LFT contract.

How the hell can ODX get ANY gov contract for antigen LFT testing, when even the mologic test isn't called out in the list of 5 ? That gov page, that is dated 23rd december.

I'm not sure my holding is relevant, other than to say i do have a holding.

As per my post a week or so ago, Ramp up of employees suggests that ODX see business ramping up, employees are an ongoing outlay.

However the lack of ANY confirmed order quantity for ANY LFT test since they got 250K RTC tests back on 19th Oct, married with the zero and I mean ZERO recognition of even the existence of the RTC by Uk gov since then, taken with the clear (at least to me) deemphasis on LFT antibody tests generally, leads me to wonder whether any significant RTC orders will materialise. We also do not know how close ODX is to being eligible to tender for Antigen LFT contracts, which is more than just having the TT-ed finished.

Orders solves all the above. its what the company needs to begin to validate it's ramp up in capacity.

I think its an LFT if all they want is a "yes/no", or a proper blood sample analysis if they want to know the quantity of the antibodies. THe document reads to me that many of the places that mention anti-body test want a quantitive test, which an LFT is not.

Then you are seeing incorrectly. The story was extremely positive for ODX, as was the nature of my posts. However the facts (and I deal with facts where possible) as they are now appear to me are that ODX are part of a consortium from which the UK gov thus far has shown little sign of ordering other than a minimal holding position, and in terms of antigen testing, they don't have one yet for another wee while, and more importantly it's eligibilty to apply for UK gov orders( at least at pahse 3 evaluation) is far from clear.

When there are significant orders, the SP will respond, as will my mood.

I don't see that in the document.

I see Siren, which is a study of 40K health care workers. There is nothing to suggest that the study is expanding to all health care workers. It says they get swabs every 2 weeks. Not twice a week. Swab suggests to me nasal/throat swab.

The phrase "lateral flow" does not occur in the document. Please quote the sentence in the document that says lateral flow test or LFT.

As per my post on the other thread, most if not all the studies mentioned in the Gov document suggest that they are monitoring quantitively the antibody presence, i.e. how many antibodies are in the test subject. an LFT test does not do that, it give a "yes/no" result.

I have not seen any evidence that would suggest that non-uk governments have any more appeitte or need for mass anti-body testing that the UK gov has thus far demonstrated.

I read that as saying the listed studies are the ones that will do antibody testing.
Of those studies, the first one is 40K test every 2 week (20K tests a week). The second primarily mentions PCR tests and finishes with "Ideally more frequent antibody testing would be used and options for increasing the frequency of testing are being explored." That doesn't sound all that definite. The others mention serology testing. Implies to me that they don't simply want a "yes/no", they want to assess the amount of antibodies in a person. An LFT test doesn't do that.

The 3 letters RTC do not occur in the document. Neither do the letters LFT, or the words "lateral flow test".

Can one of those that insist that ODX have been knocking out 200K a month RTC tests, tell me where the government is going to use them, because I don't see evidence of such use in that government vaccine surveillance strategy. And as for it being developed hand in hand with the OX/AZ vaccine to roll out alongside it, I think only Donald Trump still thinks thats true. That document for sure and certain kills ANY notion that the vaccine program will be testing all those vaccinated with antibody tests, that would be the single biggest testing program by an order of magnitude, and it doesn't exist in the document.

I've been saying for many months now that RTC is like a taboo TLA for gov recently. It's like it never existed. ODX has an order for 250K. Remember the argument that it would be in worldwide demand because of the kudos of being used extensively by UK gov...that's gone too.

Given the orders for surescreen, I guess they have passed phase 3 of the evaluation.

Anyone know if they are the mroe simple swab test, i.e. don't require you poking your brain out ? That was a requirement for the latest Bidstat tender as I recall

Do you have any idea about the share in which you are invested ? The RTC test is a blood based antibody test. The £912M tender is for a swab antigen test. So to answer your question, no it is not a coincidence as one has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other.

why is this of significance, many many countries already require a PCR test prior to flying.
