No indication yet from GAD about a contract. You might reasonably expect that if the mologic test has been selected by uk gov, that GAD would already have being supplying UK gov, given the mologic test has been available for GAD (GAD being a related company) to make since around Christmas.

Can anything be extrapolated from the above to ODX ? Is it possible that ODX has suspended Mologic TT and are working on TT-ing another test, either the surescreen one or another for supply to gov ?

you think their projected capacity isn't based on maximum usage, that's a novel take on capacity that no one in business ever heard of, EVER.

1M RTC, no new orders announced by Abingdon in the announcement some days ago, "stockpiling in anticipation of orders" means no actual sales or orders since the original order in Oct for 1M (250K for ODX).

thankful 24M people not only imagine it, but have done so. With only 1M RTC tests in circulation, if everyone was a prima donna like, there would be 1/2 million vaccinated.

you can believe what you like of course, but factually ODX has not made any forward looking statements to the markets about production estimates, they have not made historic statements regarding production. They have not provided any announcements to the market about LFT orders.

it's simple, since ODX did the video presentation which included the capacity ramp up for the first time, there has been no visibility of orders. How silly would Finncap have been to do a forecast for the interims, when the company themselves were not forecasting any production at that time, and they have had no orders, and as it turned out, at the interims they stated total of £1.5M income from all covid activities, and did not provide any numerical indication of income for the end of the financial year nor any production quantities.

There was no substance on which to base forecasts. As it turns out there would have looked incredibly foolish if they had forecast based on shipping large quantities for RTC tests, which never materialised.

Bigjock, the logically conclusion to your post is either
1) odx is paying finncap, and have told them to hold back the sp, and given Ck is the ceo, he’s the one giving the instructions.
2) odx are such an amateur outfit that whereas you have figured out this master plan by finncap, no one at odx has basic sense to figure it out and act out it.

So either complacent or ignorant, and this is a company you have shared in.

Whereas most would conclude that there is no master plan and complaining to the FCA that there is because the SP is maybe 10-15p lower than you would like is simply looking for someone to blame for something that does not in reality exist.

you are going to complain to the FCA about a company under paid contract to Omega, i.e. working on behalf of Omega, and you think possibly embrolling Omega in such a complaint is good for the SP of Omega.

When Van Tam used the odd analogy to get a point across it was mildly amusing, but when some random guy keeps bleating on about trains on here, he sounds like a poor imitation of Sheldon Cooper.

Their covid tests are all brought it from other people under some sort of license or another, ODX are fundmentally a maufacturing company not an R&D company certainly for covid. They have a vertical path for the Elisa test, seeing not great demand for the test, they are now producing the test and also doing the testing via a new lab facility.

I don't know about their non-covid portfolio.

well if its field usage that is indeed the issue then, and given the Innova one is the "right into your brains" nose + "just before your stomach" mouth one, and that the requirement now is for middle/front of nose /saliva, then poor results due to operator issues should diminish.

So another ramp story, of the innova test being chinese crap is shown for what it is, rampy rampiness meant to create a narrative that the UK tests were needed as the existing Innova test was cause all sorts of problems.

UK needs UK tests for cheaper access and independant surity of supply, it's not cause the innova test is chinese crap, even though that narrative fitted nicely into the some folks natural tendancies.

Unfortunately for ODX, Innova is called out a few times in that report. There is reference to another study, and the LFT is not specifically cited as being Innova, but is not otherwise named.

I of course have very little understanding as to how this all operates, but is ODX contract under the DPS or not? If it is, then surely the flow that was laid out in the video explaining DPSs needs to be followed.

If not, then it would suggest that the ODX/surescreen/GAD contract is not coming from the 8B assigned to the DPS.

The title of this thread is incorrect. This was put out as a Press release by abingdon it was not released as an RNS to the markets. Either they or their Nomad concluded that it was worth to put as an RNS, even an RNS-non. They've basically signed a distributor, which isn't price significant.

This tweet appears to indicate that odx (and the others) don’t have to tender for orders, they’ve been awarded.

Wasn’t the whole point of the DPS to stop such untendered awards.
